ASUS X54HY-SX091V Notebook, $589 with a Free Neoprene Slip Case - Cheapest Price on Staticice

10
OZBARGAIN2

In a market where there is less and less good notebook deals around (due to the shortage in hard drives), this price should be pretty good. Yes, I know that there are probably cheaper offerings in other cheaper brands, but this deal is the cheapest on the net for this model. Prices are all starting to go up due to the hard drive shortage, and next quarters models are going to be 320gb in many models due to the shortage.

Orders will all be shipped on Friday (overnight freight by AAE).

The deal is available until it is sold out, we have 50 units available.

Please note, other than this model, new notebooks are not our focus - we will be fixing this next year. If you check out our refurbished models you may find something to your liking if you are looking for a cheaper deal.

Cheers,

  • Just making sure everyone reading notices that there is a coupon code "OZBARGAIN2" which gives you the $60 discount to bring it down to the advertised price.

I'm still new to OZBargain, go easy on me please forum!

  • any deal on the Ultrabook would go better here

    • spawnpoint, limited stock unfortunately - if I had more than 50 available i would, but unfortunately I have between 2 and 6 of each model. If i put them up they would be gone in a second, I need them to last until next year.

  • I have very limited stock on the ultrabook, it would probably sell out too quickly to go on here and just upset everyone that they sell out too fast!!

  • I'll look into whether we have any more allocation available for the UX series and if we do, I'll list a coupon code for those models, otherwise we will need to wait until next year.

  • "1 USB 2.0 & 1 USB 3.0 ports", I seriously adoubt that only two usb ports are enough.

  • hmmm i better check that

  • Yep it is 1xUSB2 and 1xUSB3, no worse than an ultrabook! For those needing more USBs this model is not recommended but, most people don't plug more than 2 things in at one time.

    • But its a 15 incher at 35mm thick. At this size you would expect 3-4 USB ports.

      • I agree, it does seem a bit silly. ASUS is a great brand, great quality, but they do have some funny quirks sometimes. At least it has USB3.0 - most ASUS laptops at this price don't have USB3.0

  • Any deal on 12" notebooks?

    • ASUS has basically dropped the 12" notebook as a size, they do netbooks at 10" and 12", and they do 13" and a small number of 14" notebooks, but 12" now is just the Ultrabooks. I can do $986 on the UX21E-KX007V - not many available, thats 11.6". If you are interested, email me on asusnotebooks at principalcomputers.com.au.

  • Any reason why the sudden influx of AMD Radeon Graphics cards?
