+1 for fish diet…. and Cheezels!

Not on your list but big packet TASTY TOOBS are $1 a pack - half price!

There were some definite cheep cheep deals in Wollies tonight.

    • AND Twisties! Cheese and Chicken.

      • Edit: My bad, half price pringles were at Coles not Woolies

    • TOOBS (sounds like boobs!) sold out at my local but happily, Twisties and Burger Rings came home with us. :)

Mrs loves the John West tunas. Guess which new flavour? She's addicted to it.

Keeping to the junk food/fish theme.

No cheap/nasty old Wallabies gear, though.

Since I'd seen the Telstra starter pack advertised here and in the catalogue we also bought one, then I spotted the $2 deal… which of course everyone here would prefer.

Our local is chock full of cheap junk toys… sure to be Ozbargained in just over a week…

  • The telstra starter kit deal was running at coles before. Does it run often? or should i pick one up this time.

    • Telstra starter kits have been at both Coles and Woolworths fairly regularly. They do various offers like $30 SIM Starter Kit, Pre-Paid T100, and a bunch of others. The last "Starter Kit" was the end of October, and before that the end of August ($30 Starter Kit).

    • In my memory they have run it twice before. The first time was an Internet campaign which was great because it gave you $30 credit for $2 if you switched (so I used a dormant SIM, hehehe). The second time was via Coles, essentially the same as this. As to whether they will do it again, who knows? I think even their marketeers don't know what their success rate will be.

Also a reminder that the Woolies mobile (Optus) deal for $12.60 (if you have an Everyday Rewards card) is still active. Good luck deciding.

      • It's a no brainer really, Telsta pwn all other carriers in Australia no question. Data speeds and coverage range, indisputable.

  • Awesome price on Ferrero Rocher Chocolates 200g at $5 ea, this is the one with 16 chocolates

  • woolworth use computer to register your starter kit now, cannot sell it on ebay, cos it's under your name when you activate it with telstra.

    • I believe it just register those packs been sold to you, they are not technically under your name yet because when you call up to activate Telstra will ask for ID again. At least that's what happened couple months ago when I swap to Telstra, filled out the form at T-store then provided my info again over the phone…

  • Can anybody let me know which woolworth stores in Sydney have this Telstra starter kit? Checked woolworth stores in Kogarah, Rockdale, Wynyard, Eastgarden, Randwick and couldn't find one!!!

    Thanks.

    • If you were at Wynyard Woolworths, Town Hall Woolies just a little further walk, has level 1 or 2 where SIMs are sold.

      • thanks!I know they sell SIMs there, but are u sure/have u seen this starter kit is sold there? Stores I checked simply didn't stock any Telstra prepaid SIMs.

        • Not sure, it just seems the best bet of all the woolies given the size of the Town Hall department selling telco products.
