      NRMA discount isn’t available at Woolworths branded stations.

      • Are you sure? Checking the NRMA app, under "Participating Caltex or Ampol fuel locations" it brings up a map with blue markers. The Caltex Woolworths near me is listed on the map, so does that mean it does stack?

        • NRMA discount isn’t available at Woolworths/EG Group owned stations that offer up to 8c/l discount.

          I am not sure if it stacks with 4c/l voucher at Caltex/Ampol stations, to be 7c/l or 9c/l off. Probably it does considering the max 8c/l mentioned above.

          • @Neoika: Maybe it does….i usually shop at Coles, but will have to shop for $30 at woolies using the gift card and see if it stacks. There is an Ampol near my place which shows up both on the NRMA app as having a discount as well as on Woolwortsh site as being a Caltex/WOW store…maybe the Woolies website isn't updated?

    Got charged multiple times long time after after I cancelled my subscription. Like for few years my card will be charged on anniversary of cancelled subscription. Every time I called, every time they would apologise, refund the money, say it will not happen again and next year for a number of years I see same thing happen. Asked them to delete my details multiple times. Beware!

    And on this point specifically I called them once I got an SMS before the renewal, said I do not wait to continue with subscription once it expires, please stop it from renewing. They said ok, we disabled renewal and it still charged at the end. Never again will trust this mob with my CC details.

    P.S. Folks, if you are negging, could you please explain why so I can make my posts more informative if it is not good enough?

    • I've had that problem with a Telco… Can't remember what they were called, they got purchased by Vaya.
      Took 3 years to fix the problem, and it was two separate charges, one for phone and another for a 'club' membership.

          Yeah they weren't helpful.
          Though the first year I had issues I don't think Vaya had purchased them…

              Yeah that was the one. Cheap phone plan at the time ($7.99 for 300mb, 2000 texts, 200 hours local calls) though they had some stupid Membership which was a yearly cost of… 60 - 100 moneyz.

              Eventually they made that plan $12, with double the data and unlimited texts, and contacted me via email saying "we know you love your plan, so you'll keep it as part of our legacy plan scheme" sounded good, but it took me 8 months to realise that the "legacy plan" was a $10 per month cost on top of my bill, bringing it to $18.
              So I was pissed.

      It does not ask your card details while signing up so there isn't any possibility of you being charged after the expiry of your subscription.

      They didn’t ask me my credit card / payment details when I signed up. So pretty sure this won’t renew automatically.

      Because it's not worthy of a neg. We up or down vote how good the deals are here. Given this deal has no risk of charging a credit card, the deal itself should not be negged.     Just worked for me. Perfect as my free one that comes with Ford servicing has expired (no longer taking the car to the stealership for car service).

    If not, why do they need your home / postal address?

      First you get the data, then you get the power, then you get the women.

      • First you don't provide the data they don't need, or provide fake data so when their website gets hacked you can sleep soundly knowing the hackers have nothing on you.

        Seriously, their website crashed like 2 - 3 times during a simple sign up journey. I would not trust them with your ID information.

    • This contradicts that : $0$60 for the first 12 months
      $5 per month after 12 months .

      Looks to me they are going for the auto renewal after 12 mths and are making it hard to cancel according to the neg .
      Nothing new !

    Must provide mobile phone number. Companies shouldn't require a mobile number. There's nothing wrong with using a home landline.
