Thought this is pretty good pricing for the 3G version, along with included 2GB data each month!

  • a ok deal because it is 16GB version,

  • Just noting that it's $479 for the tablet as long as you're on the $20 a month plan for 24 months - so really you're paying an extra $480 for the 2GB a month.
Makes it just an average deal for me.

No, it is $479.40 on the 12 month contract ($19.95 + $20 per month, for 12 months, which gives you 2gb per month)

      • that's how I understand it too branko

  • arent tabs usually included for free on plans?

  • I work it out as $479 for a 12 month contract including 2 gig data per month AND the A501. That is a bargain if correct - the A501 is over $670 at JB with no data.

I'm pretty sure it's $19.95 for the 2gb plan and then 20/mth for the tablet payment.

    • Thats correct, I just verified the plan details with Optus. Its 39.95 pm all up.

  • Arrow computers has it for $439 w/ a 2-year warranty

  • xoom vs iconia

    anyone care to comment?

leaning to xoom, for its quad band umts and 32GB vs 16GB

  • I think they are both good deals but you need an ABN to purchase them. The only Tablet they have for sale on Personal plans is the Ipad 2

  • hi Shells
I found this on the optus website, looks like they have 3 tablets as well as the ipad 2.
