Cheapest previous price on OzB was $1,167.95 but that post mentioned 8gb ram as opposed to 6gb for this one. I am assuming that the previous Amazon deal was mistakenly stating 8gb because from what I can see the 4g model only comes with 6gb ram…

Just did it. The guy was a little hesitant given the price difference but the model number was identical so he ended up putting it through. This model is apparently online only so they need to order it in, but will only be 2 day wait for me.

I called as well. they did not offer me price beat as I was advised that this reseller is a wholeseller just like Costco.
I was at my local OW and they told me since they had no stock of this particular model they couldn't price beat it. Their warehouse has no stock with no ETA on next delivery. Maybe if your store has stock and someone willing to do it you will get lucky. I ordered mine off Ultra

I have this tablet and I absolutely love it, I bought it from the Samsung Education Store for a bit more than this price when it first came out. I cannot fault any aspect of this tablet.
I have owned the Samsung TAB A 2016, TAB A 2018, TAB S4 and now the TAB S7+ and this is the first tablet that makes me happy to leave my Dell XPS 15 at home when
I travel. The screen is OLED beautiful, the 12.4" screen size means that you can share watching a video with someone else and it's light enough to travel with.Great price and 4G is all you really need tbh. I paid for the 5G version because I couldn't get the 4g but would have happily save my money if I could have

Thought your statement was ridiculous, then googled and found out apple hold 83% market share of tablets in Australia. I'd say that's pretty dominant indeed.
Pretty much everyone but Samsung gave up. I'm sure sales would double if they added a hdmi 2.1 port on those bad babies
Worldwide there’s still a sizeable market for Android tablets, but it’s mostly lower end ones like Amazon, Lenovo and tab A. Samsung still sells plenty. Tablet market in general though has been declining for years, there’s been a little resurgence since pandemic. I guess most tablets are used for multimedia and Facebook so the requirements are pretty low and people keep using their old one for years. I have little desire to replace my cheap Android tablet and old iPad which was bought in 2014 and still does most what the newer models can do.
I have android phone and iPad. Pretty much sums it up Who else has this combo
