    It will work but I would spend more to get a 140mm fan tower or dual tower cooler if you want to stick with air cooling.

    If you are quite experienced with the application, can try ShinEtsu 7921 (https://staticice.com.au/cgi-bin/search.cgi?q=shinetsu+7921&…). Pretty much a benchmark for thermal paste in Asia region (due to high cost effectiveness). Main drawback is it's pretty thick, so bit difficult to apply (curing, so using a hair dryer to heat it can help).

  These are also much harder to install than V2. Make sure you watch a heap of YT videos prior to installation.

    I found it to be way easier for intel anyway, once you get use to the Intel pushpins it is very easy. There is also some commentary that the V1 fan is better than V2.

    V2 installation is a lot more involved as far as Intel is concerned, turns a 2 minute job into a 10 minute job:
    - Backplate
    - screws to hold down the backplate
    - screws on top to mount the cooler
    - screws to mount the mounting brackets

  Have the LED black version. Can prove that it rattles. Tried tighten all the screws and what not. Still rattles at around 1400-1600rpm. Checked online comments, seems to be common issue.

  I’m using it right now. It doesn’t rattle but blocks a fan header so i had to plug fan in then install this one.
