  After writing a lengthy review on this product, I was contacted by the company who asked for suggestions as to how to improve their product. In exchange for my suggestions and updated review, they very kindly offered to refund my purchase price and I very happily obliged. I am rating this product with 4 of 5 stars because of the customer service that I have received and the quality of the backpack itself. The quality of the contents inside of the backpack would have received a 1 star review.

  UPDATED REVIEW:
  I have used this backpack set twice now and am impressed with the quality of the backpack itself. It was definitely well made and has held up with a significant amount of food in the cooler compartment. Unfortunately, the quality of the items within the backpack were questionable enough to cause me to write my original review. The company apologized for the lack of quality of the plates, glasses, napkins and silverware and apparently will be amending the product detail to state that they are for "single use only", as all four of my plates broke after their first use, the napkins were not able to be washed in a washing machine, and the glasses warped in the dishwasher. While the company states that the quality of the accessories inside of the backpack (they only manufacture the backpack itself) is on par with other picnic sets listed on Amazon, I have to respectfully disagree - many other picnic sets include much higher quality plates, glasses and silverware. The blanket, while small, held up on a grass surface with a mini table that sat on top of it, which was definitely nice. All of the food in the cooler compartment stayed cold and the ice packs inside of the bag did not leak through the stitching.

  All of that being said, as of my writing of this review, the current price on this set is $59.99. Given the fact that many of the tableware items in the backpack needed to be replaced after one use (plates, glasses and napkins), the price on this set should most definitely be lower as you are primarily paying for a cooler backpack and not much more.
