    Magnetic charging inserts are really worth the money if you get high-quality ones. Extends the life of (what is usually) the first most probably part to fail

          Yeh, I have cables and tips from various brands, but same 7 pin line up (3 rings and centre dot on the tip connector). Just need to check carefully, a lot of Ali listings don't show the pinout side and are usually 2 pin (and think there might be some 5 pin ones out there too). (Here's a good closeup to see what to look for.)

    Can you turn off the LED indicator? Last thing I want is another light source in the room I have to cover up whilst attempting to sleep.

      Sorry, the LED can't be turned off, it is light up while it is being charged. The light is soft and I think it will not affect your sleeping.

        I think all the mag tip cables I've seen have an annoying led on them. I just used a bit of heat shrink tube around it.

        That said mine has a ring all the way around, and was really bright at night. Handy at first to find the cable end in darkness but not so great when trying to sleep.

        This one may not be as bad as it looks like it's much smaller.

        Nah those muppets have obviously not used a MagSafe or Surface Connect before. They are strong enough to hold a connection but will seperate with enough force - that's by design, not flaw.

            @Borg: I promise it's not glued to my Note10+. Admittedly I didn't buy it to charge my phone, I only wanted the tip to fix this battery drain issue. That said these cables will also work. Just bear in mind they will not charge as fast as a regular cable despite whatever bs 3A/5A claims they make.

    Ha, love the pics. Yeah I ordered one of the Essager 540 that you note as "these" but will take ages to arrive and only has x1 tip. I could not order extra on the same order.
    I might give https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/598813 a bash so as seems to hold your Note10+ which is more than required. At least one gets x3 tips and for only $5.49. Thanks for that.
