  How does this compare to the Asus RT-AC68u? I've had the AC68u for more than 5 years and it's been great. But that's a long time in IT.

    this one is worse than 68U. yours is a router and this is a combo so different there saying that you can always use Merlin wrt firmware which is what is awsome about all Asus routers

      Thanks for the clarification. I have a 5 year old DSL-AC68U and while it didn't seem to be on the compatible list, it has the AI Mesh options available in settings. Was hoping this would support it despite not being on the list :(
