  I bought this scale and then sent it back the next week. God awful product. You measure the same cup of rice 5 times and you will get different values every-time the difference will be in 20-30 grams.

  2 mins standby is not bad (some of these give you only 1 min, that's too short) and AAA batteries is a plus (instead of flat button batteries).

  Any one seen any deals on kitchen scales that DON'T use batteries? They have twisty knobs you twist to generate enough power to measure. Kogan used to have one, but they no longer list it.
