Switch Electricity Supplier and Receive a $50 Prezzee eGift Card @ WATTever

60

Have been looking up solar plans and seems Dodo have decent solar feed in tariffs, which is not dependant on usage, sign up with WATTever and get a $50 gift card. I thought its worth posting this as i havent seen that many good offers for solar plans recently, keen to find out if there are any better offers

How it works

  1. Use the Switch and Sign Up links on WATTever.com.au and sign up to a partner energy retailer including Dodo, Energy Locals, Enova Energy, ReAmped Energy or Sumo using the same email address.
  2. To claim please send a legible photo or scan of your first bill with energy usage from the new retailer to [email protected], so we can verify your completed switch. Only one Claim per retailer and customer will be eligible.
  3. Receive a BONUS $50 Prezzee e-gift Card via email from WATTever within 28 days from a verified switch.
  4. If you withdraw from a retailer during the ‘cooling off’ period you will be ineligible for the gift card.
  5. Limited time only. Offer closes 31 March 2021. WATTever reserves the right to vary or withdraw this promotional offer at any time. See terms and conditions.

so i signed up with dodo for a year contract, before an annual price hike, they delayed it a couple of weeks, (on and off the phone with them for the whole time) by the time rang up again, they could no longer offer the price i signed up the year contract for,(as it was now after the price hike), and all other companies had lifted there price as well because of the delay… never again dodo, never again.

  • I am with Simply Energy Blue plan for both solar and gas. Looking for the best deal around but havent had much luck.

  • 11c feed in for SA, thats very ordinary. Im getting 16c with Lumo, 77c day rate, 32c peak, 23c off-peak.

      • Sent you a PM. You can also use the referral codes on here, but when I signed up I needed a name and postcode to accompany the referal code. All sent by pm.

If you do sign up, check out the rewards portal for discounted gift cards as well.

        Cheers.

  • Yeah 8.5c fit for Qld is poor.

    • Solar getting put on tomorrow. Not easy to find the best deal RE: FIT. Energy Australia has come up a few times but glad if you have any better than 8.5c?Thanks.

      • What state are you in? I’m with AGL in Qld and it recently dropped from 17c to 15c.
FiT isn’t the be all and end all. You really need to work out what balance of FiT vs rates will work best for you. A high FiT means no thing if you export very little but use a lot from the grid. But if you export a lot then it makes a huge difference.

Solarquotes.com.au has some pretty good calculators you can use.

        • QLD with a big system so FIT is important

@Appleboat: AGL is probably a decent go then. Watch out for mobs who offer a good FIT but only for the first 5 KWH a day. That’s trash.

  • LOL, Internet that died, now power?

    • joises.. you're only about a decade behind the news.. Dodo have done power and gas for ages.

  • probably will end up moving to Origin with their Solar Boost plan, for Vic they will pay 14c KW for solar feed in tariff, I believe its for 12 months only, but will do the job for now, not many others paying above 10.2c KW around

    • Did you check ReAmped?

  • did anyone else get an unsolicited message from virhlpool because they responded to this energy message?

  • Hi, has anyone tried stacking this offer with the $50 referral code from ReAmped Energy?
    TIA :)
