they will be out of lock down by the time it arrives

    • Unless they have stock in WA for next day delivery

      • There's no stock in WA, delivery is expected next Monday, after the lockdown ends.

Here's to praying it will end on Friday.🙏

  • Will be none left here, day before back to school so things were crazy before the announcement at the shops, now all hope is lost… Thankfully I've at least a weeks supply in the house at all times.

    • Thankfully I've at least a weeks supply in the house at all times.

How many rolls do you need in a week? I budget on 6 squares per male, 12 per female, per day. So less than 2 rolls per week for a family.
One Amazon 30-pack is good for several months.

Seriously, people don’t have enough toilet paper to last 5 days?

  • +1

Tempted to neg this post, like the media it’s creating unnecessary panic. It won’t even arrive in the 5 days of lockdown.

    • -1

So when the post started it did arrive on time for the record . Obviously you don't know of the empty selves right now in Perth of this .
Sometimes I like some thinking at this place and number 2 for you lol where is it cheaper .

  • When you see picture of the panic buying you would be shocked :o

I was at a local supermarket. More crowded than I've ever seen, but no sign of panic. Disappointingly few wearing masks.

No hoarding, just everybody doing their normal shop early, so far as I could see. All very calm.
      Where were the shocking scenes?

        Disappointingly few wearing masks.

Too few people wear mask or not enough people wearing mask?

        • eh???

          • @bargaino: You disappointed because not enough people wearing mask or there are still people wearing mask in the supermarket.

Once the mask rules changed last Friday in NSW, I see 80% of people not wearing masks

            • @SnoozeAndLose: I don't get NSW for removing mandatory mask use in Supermarkets and Shopping Centres . It really is stupid and could cause major problems in the future with the current sewage results .
Also still mandatory in Clubs and Public Transport sending contradicting messages as basically the same a confided area indoors .

            • @SnoozeAndLose: I do not mean to judge individuals, but was hoping that a larger number would be wearing masks.
I did, but not from fear, just trying to do my bit and encourage others.
At this stage, it is all about protecting the community, not yourself.

Masks will be mandatory from 6pm, and despite everything that has happened over the last year, including 2 million deaths, so many idiots in WA still do not have any masks. It is so hard to buy a pack and put it in the cupboard?

                • @protecon: Do you have a point? I find that people posting links without comment have usually failed to comprehend the article.

                  • +2

@bargaino: Yes I understand the article clearly - just managing your expectations
Masks do not 100% protect the wearer nor prevent the people in close proximity to an infected person from being exposed
If you're in an area with a high probability of infections and don't want to be exposed, don't go out - hierarchy of controls

                    • @protecon: So if not 100%, don't bother??
Say what you wish to say, then maybe post a link as citation. Just posting link makes you look foolish.

We have never had to wear masks, so I would be surprised if anybody that isn't vulnerable even has a mask. Also masks aren't mandatory until 6pm.

It is now after 6pm, and thousands of morons have no masks. Who'd have thought this might happen?
