Got one at work. The typing experience is one of the worst. Specially control+C and V is just pain. The mouse is just mediocre. Wouldn't recommend this at this price.

Was about to get one until I saw your comment.

Judging by it, I reckon you wouldn't recommend it at any price

    • Specially control+C and V is just pain.

      Can you please elaborate?

      • copy and paste

I think he means to ask: why is it a pain? Do the keys get jammed? Placed in awkward position? What’s wrong with it

the keys have to be pressed hard to type

the most freaking keyboard to work on EXCEL…. make it unusable.

      • Hi, I am looking at buying it and I mainly work with Excel. Can you please let me know why is it hard to use this keyboard with Excel. Thanks.

I second this. Have tried a couple, and whilst the keyboard feels well made, they don't seemingly pickup some key presses.

I suggest steering clear of this model….

Aldi have the Rapoo 9300M with same capability for 29.95 coming up this week.

I have them and they work fine.

      • Yep

        • Doesn't look too bad. Probably same quality as Dell and not quite as good as Logitech MX, but for 30 bucks shouldn't complain. Might get it as spare.
          Thanks CachePC.

    • Does the Rapoo go to sleep and need a keypress to wake up like some of their other models?

      • Yes it does but its quick enough I don't worry about it. Saves battery on BT

    • Tried their 8200M, stay away from Rapoo

    • RaTpoo more like, given the low quality crap they dish out….

  • MX Keys would be better option.

    • I was just going to say it looks like the MX Keys, but might be a good backup/spare … anyone have ideas on whats DPI the mouse has?! I've got used to having the MX Keys and Master 3 tho …

    • MX Keys / Master doesn't let you swap between devices with one button. You have switch the mouse and kb separately. Great kb and mouse otherwise

  • Bought one during Boxing Day sale and have been using it everyday. Keyboard is decent to me, the key setting is a bit strange but won’t take much time to get familiar with, keys are not hard to press IMO. Mouse is bad for ergonomics, I mostly use my wired mouse so not a big deal, the Bluetooth mouse is just for working with tablets once in a while. Connection is very good but if you value ergonomic setting, they might not meet your expectation.

  • 1) Does the keyboard switch to change PC also change the PC the mouse is connected to?
    2) Or are there 2 different switches - one for the PC and one for the mouse?
    3) Is it seamless to switch between PCs or is there a delay waiting for the bluetooth to reconfigure?

I ask as I think it would be a pain to have to flip the mouse upside down and move a switch just to change connected PCs and then wait for it to initialise….

      1. No, each device has its own swapping key and separated from each other.
      2. Yes
      3. You just need first time pairing and it will connect seamlessly when you press the swapping key. There's only one switching key so might take time to change from first paired device to third paired device (eg, press 2 times to skip second one)

  • Is there another multi device wireless keyboard/mouse combo that people would recommend?

    • I've got a Logitech K810 keyboard and an MX720 mouse - both devices have 3 x bluetooth connections, so this is PERFECT for WFH for me - I swap my work laptop for my personal one and keep on going :)

I bought the mouse late last year for about $50, I've had the keyboard for 3 or 4 years…chiclet mini keyboard with no numeric keyboard. It has backlighting which I love, both recharge off a microUSB (so when they're flat you plug them in and keep on using them).
