Flybuys members who shop at Coles and fill up at Shell Coles Express can now collect up to 12 Flybuys points per litre for a limited time only, until 31 May 2021.

Members will be able to collect an extra 4 Flybuys points on every litre of fuel purchased in each month when they hit 80 litres and spend $10 in-store at Shell Coles Express. To participate, members need to switch their fuel preference to “8 points” rather than “4 cents” in on the Flybuys app or online.

Flybuys members can also help their points go even further by transferring them into Velocity Frequent Flyer Points. As 1,000 Flybuys points can now be transferred to 500 Velocity Frequent Flyer Points, refuelling at Shell Coles Express is a great way to collect Flybuys points that can be transferred to Velocity Frequent Flyer and redeemed on future flights.

To access the fuel deal, Flybuys and Velocity Frequent Flyer members need to:
1. Find the fuel offer settings in the Flybuys app or online. Select the points option to receive points instead of a cents per litre discount every time you fill up.
2. Purchase 80 litres of fuel and spend $10 in-store at Shell Coles Express in one calendar month to collect an extra 4 points on every litre of fuel purchased in that month. You must scan your Flybuys card every time.
3. Get a fuel discount docket by spending $30 at Coles.
4. Fill up at Shell Coles Express and flash your fuel discount docket and scan your Flybuys card each time you fill up to collect 8 points per litre.

*The 4 points per litre offer is valid until 31 May 2021.

To transfer to Velocity Frequent Flyer points, Flybuys members need to:
5. Link your Flybuys account with your Velocity Frequent Flyer account to transfer Flybuys points to Velocity Points.

  Spend $20 to get 10cents off is much better if you hit 80litres that is saving of $8 or 1600 pts. Much better than 4 points extra (320pts)

  Basically, 4 points a litre for filling up 80L and spending $10 in store in one calendar month.

  You must Select the points option to receive points instead of a cents per litre discount.

  You must stack with Coles 8 point offer?

  Not worth it. Shell Coles Express fuel is always 5-10c more expensive than other service stations.

    Yup. If you're in Tasmania and are an RACT member then you'll save heaps more at United petrol stations. No hoops to jump through, either, just swipe your RACT card.

  80L.. my tank is about half that. You'd need a big car to even be able to do it, and it will need to run on empty.
