  • Is NZXT a good brand of PSU?

    • +3

Most brands don't actually make PSU's and instead they rebrand PSU's from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). In this case the OEM is SeaSonic. SeaSonic would be considered as one of the best manufacturers of PSU's.

You can read a review of this unit here. Basically its a good balance of price/performance.

Don't go by PSU brand alone. There can be PSUs from NZXT, Corsair or anyone else manufactured by say 4 different OEMs for different price points. Go by each different PSU model.

  • They make the cheap MSY brand called Shaw right?

    • +2

SHAW = A-Power or Casing Macron OEM. Don't buy SHAW PSUs 🧨

    Does this catch fire too?

    • Insert joke about the NZXT H1 PC case here 🔥

Seasonic is one of the best PSU OEM.

      • +2

Seasonic or Delta Electronics are one of the best PSU OEM's

Delta makes a lot of the ultra high end dell PSU's, if you can snag a used one for a steal they are great value for money.

        • Super Flower is another top PSU OEM.

Are the screw holes insulated? :p

no need to worry, just zip tie it.

      • Heard it comes with nylon screws though should be fine.
