  • Sony or Canon 😁

  • If you bought a Sony A7Riv would you not want a UHS-ii card or 2? Godd price for these, I might pick up a few 64's after deciding that putting all my shots in 1 basket so to speak is probably not the best idea.

    • I bought an a7iii and I don't shoot video nor in continuous burst mode often so there's no point in buying UHS-ii for me.|

And yeah I had the exact same thought processes, got two 64's instead of one 128gb in case of the slight chance of failure.

      • Nice camera.
It's interesting that you only get the 170MB/s read speed if you use Sandisk's UHS ii card reader, otherwise these are the same spec as the previous model 95MB/s ones, which interestingly, will also read at 170MB/s in that Sandisk reader too.

        • That is true.

      • I use 2 uhs 1 for my A7riii, all raw goes to one and all jpeg to the other. Even for birds, i dont yet feel the need for a faster card. Watch Jared Polens video, you might have a problem if you are holding the shutter button for that long.

  • +3

It's pretty much always this price - at least for the 64gb. I've had it in my basket for months and it fluctuates a couple of bucks but no need to rush into this one unless you actually need it.

    • thanks, I was about to impulse buy :D

  • I bought the 128 from kogan for 42 bucks in December.

  • How is this SD card? Some of the reviews suggest the SD card is fake

  • Bought one last month and it turned out to be a fake. The performance in Crystaldiskmark 7.0 was no where near what it should of been with maximum 20MB/s in sequential read and write performance from my testing.
