    • those articles refers to disposable masks. The OP is selling 3 layer FABRIC masks, which can be washed many times just like any other fabric masks.

      Nope, they weren't fabric.
Always good to read the articles.

      That's pretty concerning.

As we send the masks without the box, it gives us the opportunity to make sure that there are no defects or anything unhygienic. So far we haven't found any issues except for one single mask, where the Ateja logo was misprinted. We were very selective with our supplier. The supplier has assured me that all masks are made in a sanitary environment.

Our masks are made by PT Ateja Tritunggal, an interior fabric international standard company. They are not just producing masks, but also giving them away to people, hospitals, and organisations in need as well.

Please check this link (they are in Bahasa Indonesia, but you should use the translation):

So, you tried them on before sending them out 👍

The masks are individually packed with transparent plastics :)

Compliant with Victorian Face Mask and Coverings Legislation

    who verified this?

    • very good question, i don't think i've even heard any big fabric mask sellers (Bonds, Uniqlo, etc) make this claim

    • +3

They are probably just referring to this: https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/face-masks-types-face-mas…

I don't think it's legislation but not going to care that much about it tbh.

    • +1

Cant we use this NSW? :p

Love to see the certificate, OP.

      And also from them.

      meet WHO standard

      • +1

I think you misunderstood the words.
Being complaint, and meeting a standard doesn't mean they have certification.

They meet the guidelines; they shouldn't have used "legislation".

You can use "that NSW" if you want, I personally prefer other states.

That said, I was literally checking out, when I realised no nose bridge wire!
        No thank you.

    • +2

To be fair; if they said "Bob, over in HR" would you know their employees?

I see this sort of question asked a lot; but it's not like it needs to be anyone "special" to make sure you fit all the tick boxes; they're not claiming they're certified or anything, just compliant.

Regardless; I can't do a mask without a nose wire.
      Darn it.

      • +1

        Thanks for clarifying this.

Yes, you're right, it doesn't have any nose bridge. Sorry for the deal-breaker.

    • +1

      Great question!

As others have mentioned, it doesn't have any official verification but rather it is made to the specification or meets the specifications that are suggested. We added the compliance to VIC mask legislations clause back when they advised the following:

"You must wear a fitted face mask that covers the nose and mouth, designed to protect you from coronavirus (COVID-19). It does not mean a scarf or bandana or loose snood or loose gaiter.

The Chief Health Officer recommends a mask with 3 layers that fits securely around the face, specifically covering the nose and the mouth."

Thanks, ordered 1 pack of multicoloured. Good price, hopefully quality is reasonable.

    • Thank you :)

  • +1

Would be good to have a mixed pack. Say 2 adults and 3 kids.

    • +1

I can definitely sort this out for you, just send me your Order ID to me via email and I can put in 2 adults and 3 kids. Or whatever variation, unfortunately I can't take any colour requests as we're getting low in stock.

The only downside is the risk of silver nanoparticles.

Plenty of studies that are so far inconclusive, but early results suggest nanoparticles and our lungs are the worst of friends.

Probably still less damaging than most illnesses a mask can help prevent though I suppose :)

Haha; also, while I get what they were going for (edgy and school), the company has used a flat-key beat in their "ad". You know; the usual key you'd use for a psychedelic horror or such?

I love what they're doing for a country less fit to isolate, but boy, that "big brother's new secret army of drones" type video makes a pro-masker feel a little odd about strapping it on; lol.

Perhaps a more upbeat message? Heh

    • +3

Sorry, but I can't give you any assurances to the use of silver nanoparticles. The benefits outweigh the risks, but I will definitely keep an eye on recent research. The silver treatment is on the outer layer of the mask.

Hahaha! Our photographer in Indo wanted to give videography ago and came up with this. Totally get what you mean.

I'm in the process of packing all the orders now. I'll have all orders placed up to 3:30 pm AEDT posted from my Collingwood LPO today. They will be posted via AusPost Letter.

  • Thanks OP, ordered 1 pack.

    • +1

      Thank you :)

  • +1

I ordered a pack of these last time they were posted here. There are some issues with a loose thread here and there and the logo coming off very easily (Though that's arguably a plus) but otherwise I thought they were decent.

    • +2

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I've noticed that too with the ones I use personally. I'm glad you're happy with them :)
