Push Up Bars are $8.00 @ Kmart

    • -1

Yes but they are made of PVC and the foam is not as thick. Ours are made from steel and have extra padding on the handles.

      • +1

I can't see where it says they are made from PVC, where did you read that?

        • We bought them along with many of our competitors in our initial research. Most are made from PVC or polypropylene. A good material but just not up to the same level as metal.

          • +1

@RichardML: These ones are the same & it says they are made from aluminium.

PVC would be incredibly dangerous, I really doubt Kmart would risk selling them if they were made from that.

            • @WatchNerd: I'd have to agree with WatchNerd. The Kmart ones are not PVC

              • @Lizard Spock: If they are not PVC they are then polypropylene.

            • +5

@WatchNerd: Yeah but do you get the free ebook on how to do pushups? Huh? Do ya?

            • @WatchNerd: Those bars are not bad, but we found they were not as stable and were more likely to fall over especially when we were tired and potentially favouring one side over the other.

            • @WatchNerd: Heh I'm no expert but surely the part with the different foam is the part you hold… yet in the really low resolution picture the guy using them is using them wrong.

      • It is much easier to manufacture with steel than any type of plastics.

    • I bought these from Kmart 2 months ago and been using them every day since with no problems. Would recommend

      Hmmm… https://www.google.com/search?q=push+up+bra

Reminds me of the pre-internet days, looking in clothing catalogues.

Will send sexy pics for a price…..

      I also have dyslexia D:

  • Superior steel frame construction. "Superior" to what…?

    • Superior to the polypropylene frames most others are made of.

    • +1

Superior to anything weaker than metal so paper, plastic, cardboard, wood, graphite, nylon, Cheetos, tomatos, homus, soup…

      • +1

Though homus is never to be under estimated…

  • How does this compared to solid/birch wooden ones?

    • The birch/solid wood ones are great. Just came down to a matter of actual size as well as some of us found less discomfort with the foam.

  • +1

What is the benefit of these over just using the floor?

    • I would like to know too. Looks like landfill to me

    • +1

People that get sore wrists have found less pain when using these. You can also get lower because the bars increase your height which adds increased effort if you are going right to the floor.

    • Increases the range of the movement, less strain on your wrists.

  • +1

    OzBargainers just use this…

    • Haha if anyone tries this, be sure to upload a video. There is sure to be some funny stacks.

  • But how do i get the ebook…?

    • It should be emailed to you. If you have opted out of amazon's emails let me know and I will personally email it to you. :)

  • Can't see where to apply the code/'tick the box'…?

    • It will automatically be added at the end.

  • Thanks to everyone that has bought. Getting those weekend orders ready to ship early Monday morning. We are almost out of stock.

    I was promised nudes!

Negging because the Rep has admitted to price jacking before posting this deal then creating a fake 40% off discount.

He has been thrown under the bus by Aussie Online Entrepreneurs.

Here is a screenshot from the video.

Create a decent monetary deal in their eyes. I was cheeky and put my prices higher on Amazon and then created a 40% off coupon which in actual fact was only 20% off my original price.

  • +9

As above. OP openly admited to using OzBargain as their dumping ground for garbage products and price jacking items in thier Amazon store.

  • +5

    yep, scam deal

  • +6

Negging due to new information of price jacking before adding "deal"

    • +5

      Also, I was promised nudes

      • +3

No, you get those after you read the e-book, do the push-ups, get ripped and get on Grindr/Tindr.

  • +5

Buddy tell your mentor to do some research-he is talking shit. He has no clue about bargain sites in the US.

  • +7

Price jacking. Possibly against ACCC regulations.

    • +5

Yes Kogan got fined $350k for doing the same thing.

The Federal Court has ordered Kogan Australia Pty Ltd (Kogan) to pay a penalty of $350,000 for making false or misleading representations about a tax time sales promotion, in breach of Australian Consumer Law.

In July 2020, the Court found that Kogan had misled consumers by advertising over a period of four days that they could use the code ‘TAXTIME’ to reduce prices by 10 per cent at checkout, when Kogan had increased the prices of 621 products immediately before the promotion.

In most cases, the prices of these products had been increased by at least 10 per cent. Kogan then decreased those prices soon after the promotion ended, many back to their pre-promotion prices.

Negging because of apparent lack of respect.

  • +2

What the video shared by WatchNerd and blacklist RichardML. He doesn't deserve your patronage or trust.

    • +2

Please blacklist. Ozbargain don't need anymore of this.

  • +1

Negging for future posts by this user. Pricejacking, dropselling nonsense.

  • +1

Negging due to pricejacking. Someone finally pointed me back to this deal. Thanks PW.
