Sonic B Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Combo $25 @ Woolworths

74

Saw this in my local woolies (Point Cook VIC). Dunno if it is a “ozbargain” but there’s definitely value here for what it is.

Sonic seems like a good brand, anyone used this before?

its just a cheap keyboard and mouse at rrp. plenty of others under $25.

    • Why buy sonic when you can buy tonic?

No way Rapoo is at least a well known and long standing budget keyboard.

That's also a nice compact keyboard without sacrificing the numpad

    • No way you can work on that keyboard….

This one has bluetooth and 2.4ghz wireless. It's much better than the sonic.

      • Aldi one works very well.

  • your better off getting a cheap logitech or Microsoft setup.

These are good for gaming as they are wireless.

I believe sir, you live in opposite world.

This is cheaper & much better value imho. https://www.centrecom.com.au/rapoo-x1800s-wireless-keyboard-…

Seems to be RRP based on the tag, and the comments, not to mention the reviews…

  • Picked one up a few weeks back for 1/2 price @ $12.50. I'm ok with my purchase at that price, but wouldn't pay $25.

This is the junkiest stuff you can buy and they want $25? Tell 'em they're dreamin'!

You can get a Logitech wireless combo for only $4 more:

    • I'll second that one. It has also dropped to $14 @ OW in the past, and I always grab a couple when it does. They're just the right size for dropping in a 14/15" laptop bag or back pack,, the receiver fits in the mouse for transport, about as small as you get while stilll having a usable number pad and seperate cursor keys and my current one has gone 2 years being used for gaming with just the losss of one support clip and the occassional miss on the left mouse button when the battery is low. The batteries las 3-5 months easily even without bothering with the power switch when not in use.

The only drawbacks are no number/scroll lock light [Caps lock only] and a small non-L enter key.

Wow … I stand corrected. It doesn’t seem to be a deal with value.

I based my assumptions on the fact I purchased a Bluetooth mouse only for $30 from OW at the beginning of COVID.

Thanks for the input all 👍

No harm, no foul; that's what the votes are for.

Don't confuse Bluetooth which is usually more expensive with wireless.

Good on you for trying, and not taking negative votes personally; lots of new people get defensive, and this was your L plates post.

      All good :)

    • If it was the J Burrows brand, that's a solid Bluetooth mouse, and $30 is a sensible price for it.

Just FYI, no-name stuff can be a bargain if it's extremely cheap, but not at RRP. In fact, the only time RRP seems to be acceptable around here is when the item is in short supply.
