    The article was posted on the 21st and they have got two consecutive days correct… which obviously rules out guessing.

      You need a separate copy of the game. It's just extra content for the game (Extra cars or tracks not included on the disc)

      You would need to buy the game separately.

      The DLC is extra content. As an example, the Season Pass DLC comes with…

    If you're considering the FM4 content, the season pass contains the November Speed Pack, so do not make the mistake of purchasing both of 'em.

      That's so nice of you to say, and for me to read. Today when I was updating this deal, I was thinking to myself, "Well, it'a far removed from the first page, so I doubt anyone is going to notice today's update." I think you are certainly not alone in counting down til the 30th, from what I've read most people are holding out for the Gears 3 sale. It'll be great to also see what's on sale on the 3rd of Jan. when EA have their publishers sale. Anyway, thanks again!

    So what does the Gears 3 pass entail? Obviously one can play MP if they buy the game brand new, so that's no good to me, I've also read you get the RAAM new co-op story included with it (which on its own is 1200MSP whereas the pass is 1800MSP), what else does one get does anyone know? Thanks heaps.

      Google is my friend.
      For anyone else who was unsure what it contains, it entitles the purchaser to the first four installments of DLC that will be released in quarterly installments. At its original price of 2400MSP it represents a 33% saving on the cost of buying each of the DLC separately.

    damn, the gears weapon skin collection is expensive!
    can't believe the original cost is 3600 points($50-60ish?), pretty close to the cost of the actual game.

      Agreed, for some meaningless weapon skins that add nothing to the game at all except make your guns a pretty colour, even at 50% off it's a ridiculous price.

    Awesome, just picked up the season pass. Thanks again steveau for making/updating this post :). If not for heads up I may have bought the pass before the special. Would give more +'s if I could.

    With the initial 33% off and now another 25% off, making it now 50% off individual DLC, the season pass really is an 'EPIC' bargain! … See what I did there ;)

      It's great to read so many positive comments on here, especially when the gaming community is tarnished with so much whining and negativity. I know a lot of people were annoyed that the Gears Season Pass wasn't 50% off but in my opinion, it's great that Microsoft put Season Passes on sale at all. Like you say, mow 50% off the the individual DLC prices. Thanks again!
