Good price on Webcam Pro 9000

  • +2

I'm surprised the Z-5500 still lives!

    • I wonder how many they got left?

    • +1

Not much we will finish them at this boxing sale

    • +5

It deserves to live because the replacement model doesn't seem to be as good. I got mine in December last year for $295 from Shopping Square.

      • The Z906 is awesome, the design team have gone for more of an all round quality sound with less of the booming bass that Z5500 has. So probably a richer sound - but both are brilliant for the price, hurry before Z5500's run out cause that will be it.

  • m305 vs m235 (JB hifi) anyone??

    • +4

A little birdy said some kind of sale on m235 in the back to school time. Just thought i will mention it :)

      • Would this little birdy know how much it will be on special for? :D Less than JB?

        • whats JB got them for? I picked one up earlier this week for $14.95

      • hey did the little birdy say anything about a better mouse like the M950 going on sale? got some cash to splash but not keen on forking out triple digits

        • +1

M950 or G700 are our hero models, so grabs either, you won't be dissapointed.

  • Hey Bargaincrypt

I wonder if you could help me, I bought a pair of UE 700's & the sound has stopped working on them, the jack has become loose & if I wobble it some sound occasionally cuts in. I've lodged a support ticket on the 19th but nobody has gotten back to me & with the Christmas holidays I believe I won't get any response until the 3rd onwards (tried to ring phone support but they're closed until then).

Now I'm really feinding quality headphones & I left my UE 200's at work (which are pretty average), now if I buy a new pair of UE 700's can I receive a refund for the defective pair? Or any chance you can organize a priority bag to my door for returns/replacement?

FYI - The UE700's are only 1 month old (16th Nov 2011 invoice date).

Thanks, I understand this isn't an official support forum but I love my UE 700's!

    • +2

email [email protected] they will sort it for you. you will have to return it for replacement

      • Thanks, hope I can get a response soon :)

Was writing a review for the UE700's but got an error so here's a basic summary:

        Pros

        -Best Headphones I've ever owned
        -Really clear/great sound quality
-Now only $89 (was $99 before)
-Extremely comfortable compared to my UE200's (they always fall out)

        Cons

-Bass is good for inner ear but you could probably find more UNCEUNCE in some cheaper headphones (at the cost of sound quality unless you're willing to pay big $$$)
-When I'm walking I smack my hand on the cable & they rip out of my ears (I look stupid & it hurts my ears)

        • To stop the headphones falling out, try wearing the cable over the ears.

        • Try all the different bud sizes to get the perfect fit, you'll also find it changes the sound reproduction as well. Follow the tip of running cable over black of ear. Lots more info and FAQ's on our website, just find the UE700's and click Support.

    • I had the same problem after month of using the superfi 4 headphones. Great headphones, but the lead and particularly the stress relief at the jack was not what you'd expect from high-end headphones. Oh well, I may try the triplefi 10s, at $170 they are a bargain.

      • Our UE's have one or more years SArramty guys, go to logitech.com, click support and email/phone the Support Team to get help and replacements.

      • +1

$170 for Triplefi is not too bad, but when I think about the $99 from Amazon (which I missed), I just couldn't call it a bargain from an ozbargainer's spirit.

        • $99, wow that's a bargain, spewing that I missed that. I hang my head in shame, maybe next black friday.

  • no special on force GT wheel? Can do better than DSE 89 dollars few days ago?

    • +1

      I doubt it

    • +1

it wasn't a few days ago . It was actually $109 from what i can remember if im not wrong.

      • +1

opps……. few months ago, must be cross over my mind from some of the comments during the 109 sales

hope to get one for my son…….. or maybe myself……

    • If they can do it for less than $89, that would be the end of the world.

      • +1

Probably the end of our world too as we wouldn't be making any money and nor would our resellers then there'd be no Logitech for anyone :-(

        • illogitech

  • Nice, the S715i delivered. :)

    • +1

yeah nice price, bought mine just now :)

    • Awesome deal for s715i incl delivery, ordered one tonight. Cheapest on staticice was around $170, normal price in majors was RRP $279 (minus 10-20% for boxing day sales).

  • nice deal for z906,attempting..

    • It's only $6 cheaper than last sale if my memory was right overall still a good price.
Tried price match this at JB while back when LT have it for $325, best price they did was $365

  • +3

    UE700s for $89 is a great price!

  • Bought a few Logitech alert cameras the other day and now the price has gone up by $20 and not on sale for boxing day. I was going to purchase another one but not now

Might have to check out importing prices to compare.

    • If you buy an imported one be careful with Warranty provisions and power requirements given Alert runs of your electricity system.

      • Thanks for the info. Prob won't import one but not happy with LS jacking up the price. It's the biggest sales time of the year so if anything should be discounted.

Not a bad system if anyone is after security cameras however there is a slight delay in the video feed. Might be the power line signal quality but I'm still trying to work out the cause

        • Different things are on sale at different times, unfortunately not everything can be on sale all the time, it's really not sustainable when we have hundreds of product lines, so LTS do the best they can.

Lag etc - go to logitech.com click Support and you can phone/ email/jump on our forums to get assistance

  • I have the K800 and M905 mouse using the same Unifying dongle with the latest software updates for setpoint….got em price officeworks with 5% off.
Anyways I'm finding delayed typing\stuck\frozen on screen both response from mouse and keyboard?
Yes both batteries are fully charged.
Also notice it on another second setup in different state.

Anyone have similar experience and find fix?
Just typing this up all worked fine?????
Does not matter if PC on new or 30 minutes later…..

    • I had something of the same problem with my K800 and M950, but only under stress (ie: when gaming). I think putting the receiver on the extension cable fixed my problem. You could try that, or try for a refund.

    • Doesn't sound normal, few of us are running 4 or 5 devices off it, but haven't noticed that problem. Call our Support Team, go to logitech.com and click Support for details or try our Forums. Check your environment for any other unusual interference

  • rep, no deal on HD Pro Webcam C910?

    • Sale on selected items only from what i know

  • +1

    MK260 is 3Ocents cheaper at JB. [o]

    • owww no :)

  • -8

still looking for a real sale? - look elsewhere.

    • +2

There aren't many places in Australia you are going to find better offers, so jump in enforcer103

  • looks like the z5500 is Now : $2,950.00
    lol

  • Thanks, bought another Pro 9000 webcam for home.

  • Got a G9x for work and nice tax claim for next year.
    Cheers!

    • G9X on last sale was only $59

      • Eh, need a new mouse ;p

  • Yeah, picked up a Pro 9000 as well - just Skype'd for my first time on Xmas - addicted :)

    • Did you expect it to have the quality that it did, we're you surprised?

      • Sorry - I can't give a review. I used my Dad's old laptop with old Logitech webcam from years ago - WiFi was also nearly out of range so…. My sister who I Skype'd looked like a pixilated blur :P

  • +3

OH MANNNN! I'm gonna become broke soon!

I bought the z906 two months ago and just bought the z5500 just to compare.

    DAMN YOU CHRISTMAS!

    • +1

      Seriously?
      Why…

      • too much money

        or he is a moron

  • someone explain why Logitech G19 Gaming is RRP is $400?

    • It's the RRP, but as ozbargainers will know you can get great deals from LTS and other places. What our retailers, resellers, online stores sell our products for is up to them.

      • You're right, and I have bought many times from you guys :) - just curious at why RRP is so high for that product lol

        • +1

Unrealistic RRP gives you the illusion of huge discount which is supposed to be the normal price.

I understand resellers could sell with whatever price they want, but shouldn't RRP be more reasonable?

        • yeap that rrp is stupid

who would really paid for a $400 keyboard..

    • @ sheepy we just provide recommendations based on the requirements and structures set down for our brand in Australia. As to what the marketplace does and how they go about it, it's up to the individual or business entity.

As you know all businesses in Australia must abide by the Trade Practices Act and ensure their conduct is within the guidelines set down. We trust and hope that is the case of all resellers selling our products.

There's a great community here in OZBARGAIN and it's pretty easy to see past deals to work out what's what, we think that is fantastic plus regulars here on the postings help out too, which we encourage.

  • is a better mouse like the M950 going on sale? as i said above i'm not keen on forking out triple digits

    • M950 is under $100 from looks of it while stocks last. Check out the G700 too - trust us, you get what you pay for :-)

  • nah M950 is still $90. they had that bad boy on sale for $55 back in the day!

  • I got the M950 ages ago for $55 and it's been alright.
Got the MX518 for gaming though.

    • +1

the MX518 has the high dpi but i'd prefer wireless like my current desktop mouse the old MX1000, still going strong but on it's 2nd internal battery, bought for the princely sum of 4 bucks from a garage sale!

      • +1

Go have a look at the G700 —- just some of the features

        Switchable DPI
You can shift from pixel-precise targeting (200 dpi) to lightning-fast maneuvers (up to 5,700 dpi) in an instant.

        Data over cable
Worried about that critical game situation? Playing in a busy wireless environment? With data over cable you always have a backup for reliable connectivity.

        Dual-mode scroll wheel
You get precise click-to-click scrolling that’s perfect for weapon selection when you’re gaming. Hyper-fast scrolling lets you fly through long Web pages.

        Full-speed wireless
1,000 reports per second give you gaming-grade responsiveness and wireless freedom. You get a steady, powerful connection with no dropouts.

13 programmable controls with macro capability*
Perform either single actions or intricate macros with multiple keystrokes, mouse events, user-defined delays and repeating.

  • Bargincrypt is the Logitech shop ever getting the Logitech Harmony® Link ?

    • There is no confirmation yet of an Australian release for Harmony Link, but we are hopeful of getting it.

      • Thanks for the response. I guess I'll have to try and source it from the US.

        • +2

Probably best to wait as we aren't even aware if the App will be available for local download/activation. Plus there won't be any Service or Support available locally. LTS will probably be one of the first in AUS to have it when it lands and will hopefully take ore-orders

  • I would give it till end of January before getting it from US. I don't think it will be longer than that. I might be wrong though.
    Bc

    • Thanks for the further follow up [logitech & bargaincrypt]. Shame can't reply to that level of comments :)

Yes I've been waiting ever since if came out, just a little impatient at the moment. But I guess a little more waiting can't hurt. Didn't think about local activation. Hope it's out soon! :D

      • Engadget weren't too impressed when they reviewed the Link. But that was prior to the update that allowed customisation of the app layout. I was just reading about it earlier today :) http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/11/logitech-harmony-link-rev…

        • That's the beauty of an App based device…so many things can be tweaked, updated, changed and it all comes from consumer feedback which we love.

        • I have a Harmony One, but I just want to be able to change music and such when I'm out in the back yard or upstairs. Where the WiFi will be great.

  • +1

Just ordered the Z-5500 speakers. Hopefully they will last me a couple of years. :)

    • Me too :p all for the Xbox. Adsl 2+ being organised, cod and bf3 lurking in the cabinet, 2011, successful.

  • What are the 400vi earphones like?

    • +1

They are great - with the on cord controls for iPod/iPhone/iPad they are handy, the noise isolation blocks out practically everything and they sound great. They also have various size ear buds to get the perfect fit in your ears.

Lots of reviews on the range here http://reviews-au.logitech.com/7061-en_au/allreviews.htm

Here is more about what UE is and where it all came from, it's all been built around our experience with performing artists http://www.logitech.com/en-au/earphones/experience-ue/ue-sto…

      • Thanks for the marketing plug. :)

I had a pair of TripleFi that have been reshelled into quad customs but I don't want to use them for everyday use. I've already bought a pair of CC51 so I'll wait to see what they're like first.

My quad customs are awesome but just trying to find a good cheap pair that has decent sound with iPhone controls.

        • +1

Ok, if you are that into your music, then make sure you check out the UE600Vi's too then.

        • Will do. It's a shame the UE700 don't come with an iPhone control version. I guess I could just use an adapter.

          Thanks again! Cheers

  • +1

So i have been tossing up on whether or not i would get the G510, after alot of research over the last day or so i decided the G510 was for me… Go to order it…… SOLD OUT :(. So i bought the G19 instead :P.

    • +2

they only sold out temporarily i just checked they show in stock. But having said that G19 is an amazing unique keyboard. Good buy :)

  • -1

What happened to Z623s?? They sounded great - baby z906s ;) If you don't have the room

  • Still waiting for the Android keyboard to be even stocked after being promised by bargaincrypt that it will arrive a month ago.
