The pink TKL keyboard with wireless and blue switches is on flash sale.

Blue backlight & Red switch keyboard $55.24 — Expired

The keyboard for sale is the wireless version with blue backlight and red switches. If you really want it with blue switches then if you check back every 2nd week they get more stock in around the $60 mark (currently only available from 3rd party sellers for way too much).

I've been using this keyboard for around a year and I really like it after I did the foam mod (even $200+ keyboards benefit from the foam mod). When recommending it to others I often find it's out of stock when I send them the link, well it's now in stock and on special too.

Thanks, how do the red switches feel to you in terms of clicking & noise?

    • They're great! :) I much prefer over blue, less noise and feel good

      • Haha great! I like a nice click that’s not mushy and not too loud, thanks!

I bought one of these a little while ago. My red switches feel quite soft and spongy, but they are very quiet. Only noise I have is the keycap bottoming out which can easily be helped by installing o-rings.

      • Ooh spongy, not a fan, I think I’m going to give it a go and see how I go, can always replace if I need, the wireless is winning me over

    • I used brown switches for 10+ years before getting it. Red switches took some getting used and I still prefer the feel of brown switches. After a year I still find I can't help but bottom out on red switches which makes it a little slower for typing (for me), and in games sometimes I find the keys I'm resting my fingers on get pressed as they are primed with a little downforce.

That said, wireless and TKL is just so much better for me for everything that I'm willing to forgo brown switches. The battery life is 2+ weeks without the backlight using it for 10+ hours everyday. There's no lag, it's as fast as Logitech lightspeed.

It does however really need the foam mod, as there is a hollow ringing noise when pressing the keys otherwise. I also wasn't a fan of the low profile keycaps so I changed them to my previous keyboards caps (Logitech G710).

This is great info Thankyou, I’m going to get this and go with foam mod. Will see how the caps go for me and take it from there!

      • I also have this keyboard, would you point me to the manual/video how to do it properly. Thanks.

    • It is pretty loud actually if you bottom out and keys wobble a lot on this kb, also there is no tactile feedback on reds, big no no for typing.
Only pro of reds is easy to double tap in games imo.

  • Does it come with a usb cable if you want to make it wired ?

    • +2

Yes, it's a nice long cloth-braided USB-C to USB-A cable too (at least it was when I purchased it).

  • Just about to "hit" buy for the 2nd hand corsair k63 in marketplace for about the same price, looks similar from the spec but anyone has experience of both?

    • Does the Corsair come with a wrist rest and is it the wireless version? If so I'd lean towards that even if 2nd hand for the same price.

      • The picture doesnt show but i may ask the seller, tho the original keyboard does have included

  • got a link to the foam mod?

    • Yes, I was about to ask the same: What is the "foam mod"?

      • +1

Shove foam inside the hollow cavity between the top plate and chassis.

There's many youtube guides on how to do it with many keyboard but the premise is always the same. Remove the keycaps, take out the screws that hold the top plate to the chassis. Then shove the cavity with spongy foam so that it's almost overflowing and close it up

        • where did you get your foam from?

          • @impoze: I had some spare lying around from inserts in the pelican style cases.

Packing peanuts would work too. Pretty much anything that is kind of spongy that can fill the void will work, even napkins or old clothes.

  • what does it means by red switches ? is it the red light under the buttons ?

    • red switches refers to the type of switch. would be "similar" to cherry MX red switches which are a linear switch (no tactile bump when bottoming out your key)

      • +1

omg i have no idea what is that cherry mx stuffs i will need to read first what is mechanical keyboard

  • Brown in stock $59.99 delivered.

  • +1

OMG, that was quick… gone already

Can still get black version with red switch (wired version) for $51

    • yes, got it… thanks

  • Check out the Tecware Phantom if you don't need wireless
Comes in full size and TKL, and already has foam in the case. (or at least mine already had foam in it)
Hotswap with outemu switches, I swapped mine out for Outemu Silent White for budget silent mech.

    • It is an amazing keyboard. However, I’m pretty sure it has been out of stock for months now

      • I bought mine from mwave a few weeks ago, and I see stock from Amazon (AZ eShopAZ eShop)

        • I stand corrected, you are indeed right. I was looking for it about a month ago and couldn’t find any. Thanks for the info :)

  • How does this keyboard compare to a) a Velocifire or b) a Keychron? Any thoughts/experiences with them?

  • there is a $5 discount, so its 59.99 with stock right now.
Thanks for showing me this brand, i was looking for TKL with a dongle + usb C, finally found one!

OP, have you gamed with the dongle? good?

  • I have been unable to get my keyboard to work in wired mode with a USB-C to USB-C cable, and only works with a USB-C to USB-A cable in in the (single) USB port on the laptop, which is usually not available. Strangely it will work with a USB-A to USB-C converter with this cable, but only in one direction (and looks clunky).
Is there a different USB-C to USB-C cable I can get for this?
    Thanks
