  • So afterpay……

  • +3

    I got this it's meh.

    • +4

Yeah. A Parlux 385 is cheaper than this (I'll hand in my OzB badge and admit I bought it at full price) and runs better than my partner's Dyson hair dryer and I stand by it everyday!

  • Did you guys notice it is refurbished product?

    • +9

It's in the heading and description…

    • -5

Are you sure? Where does it say that?

    • Yes

  • +1

I hope Xiaomi makes hair dryers.

  • From my experience, cheap hair dryers are like cheap AC pedestal fans, and their motors will wear out over time. Is a “good” hair dryer similar to a quality DC pedestal fan, where the motor won’t wear out like a cheaper unit?

    • +6

Does it really matter when the cost of this is so high you can buy 7 normal ones (or 15 really cheapo ones) new, not refurbed? They don't wear out that much more quickly versus buying a new one in maybe half the time. Seriously, its a hairdryer, if you think it's worth this much, esp for a refurb, get off OzBargain. IMHO, a second hand hairdryer is not a bargain at over $350.

PS I've had cheap pedestal fans for many years… never worn one out ever

      • +2

PS - Yes I am sure the Dyson is better, in the same way I'm sure a Lamborghini is in many ways better than my car, and it gets great reviews as a result, and it's a lower price for this model than $549 rrp (hence I haven't negged it), but ….

So unless you have really really long and difficult or easily damaged hair … or so much money you don't need OzB…Enough said? :)

Since when were you designated the title of the president of Ozbargain? Just asking since you keep telling others that they don't need Ozbargain.

  • im after a wireless/ cordless hairdryer

    • +1

It will cost more than 50 cents.

    • +7

Stand outside on a windy day

    • +1

this will blow ur mind too.

  • Thanks OP got one. -$10 for free after pay referral from OZB. total $341.12.

  • For something like this, would recommend going with brand new rather refurbished.

    Source: I own one.

    • Any reason why I shouldn't go for refurbished? Trying to justify full price is really hard for me

  • Any deal on refurbished dyson fans without afterpay?
