Yep, my local store had no stock left when I was there at about 1PM :/
My local store said that it was only generic non Nintendo accessories on 50% off… I'd like to confirm if this wasn't the case.

If I have 2 normal controllers should I just get the motion plus addi on for $15.95. Or is there some advantage to a new controller with it included ( like can the big rubber cover be removed?)
They're functionally the same, the only difference is size - the Wii Remote Plus is the same size as the original one, whereas adding a MotionPlus to the original controller makes it noticeably longer. You can remove the rubber cover on either variant if you want!
If I were you… at these prices, I'd get an extra two Remote Pluses. That way you have the maximum of four controllers as well - ready for use for New Super Mario\Rayman Origins\whatever party game you're into.
How do i know if my current remotes are "Plus" or not? :P
Look near the bottom of the remote - plus remotes have the text "Wii MotionPlus INSIDE"

I am trying to play skyward sword on adolphin emulator for my pc and i know nothing of Wii…I bought a nunchuck and remote online but they dont have motion plus so i realise i can buy the motion plus add on but doesnt that plug into where my nunchuck plugs into? So then where do i plug my nun chuck? Im totally noooooob, plz help! Thanks in advance:)
The Motion Plus plug-in has a port you can plug your Nunchuk into, so effectively you have a piggyback connection of Wii Remote > Motion Plus > Nunchuk. No problems having everything connected.

@ 5:45pm - Went to HN, they gave me nunchucks and said: "Sorry, we are out of white remotes - need to get them in from other store. We'll call you Thursday or Friday.
I asked for other colours - they said only pink left (I passed on that). Now have to wait :(Bit annoyed as they were obviously too slow reserving floor stock for online orders and someone bought them all out.
I just bought 2 from JB-HiFi (price match). The guy didn't want to give it to me since he could only find $48 on HN website's search. But the $29 link mentioned here was still working so he price matched it.
Just managed to get one for $23.00 from the Cottesloe Central Harvery Norman in WA! I checked the website before I went to the store and was like damn back up to $58, but as I was on the road thought I'd try my luck. The coloured Wii Plus Remotes were all $70 but the black one $46 for some reason. At the till it rang up as $46 but I pulled out the catalogue that they had sitting there which said 50% off accessories. The 50% excludes games and consoles but no mention of genuine accessories so they gave me the discount :)
picked up my order from Harvey Norman Aspley QLD earlier this arvo after putting the order in this morning. Couple of black Wiimotes Plus with matching nunchucks, couple of motion plus addon (was meant to be both white to match the colour of the ones I've already got but they apparently ran out of the white ones so got 1 white and 1 black) - apparently no steering wheels at all in QLD and as it's holiday today, they won't be able to find out when the next shipping date is until tomorrow so…
I ordered a nunchuck and remote last night and picked it up today from north ryde - seems they have stock. I also picked a wii wheel up - it came up as full price but they had a sign up promoting the deal, so the guy had to manually change the price for me.

went to my harvey norman yesterday and was going to get the wii mote and classic pro controller and the price was $90 or something. i was telling them that on the site it was 50% off and they were looking on the computer and the website had the normal prices, i was telling them the price was cheaper on the website about an hour ago (which it was). i showed them this site with the deals on it and he had a look and even though the site was there he still would not do it.

I scored today at Braybrook HN today, picked up both a nunchuk and Wiimote + Motion for 50% off, I just showed the section in their catalog where it had all Wii accessories 50% off, and the guy seemed happy enough to mark both items down - bargain :-)

Ordered this on 26/12 evening after checking there was stock in the nearest HN.

Didn't get a 'notification' and so I called them today, they are out of stock and apparently the supplier will only be back to work 3rd Jan. So possibly looking at mid-Jan.
Which kinda sucks because I have relatives intown, and I was hoping to gift them the wiimotes before they leave.I ordered my gear on 26th and got an email the following morning saying my order should be ready within five business days. Hopefully that's correct as there seems to be a fair bit of variance between shoppers.

I was called on Tuesday to say the nunchuck was in and the Wii remote was expected the following day from interstate. The wheel was expected in a week.
Remote still hasn't arrived in-store. Hopefully Monday - keen to get some wii action in with the kids before I go back to work…

my brother got the catalogue in the mail yesterday and i went into the store today with the catalogue and got 2 wii motes with builtin motionplus, classic controller pro and a dsi starter pack all at 50% off.
the person that was serving had no idea about the sale and i showed her the catalogue, she then had to change the price on the computer as it was giving the normal price.Seems like most HN stores are out of stock, so why not just get JB or BigW to price-match? i went to JB and they price matched HN original price ($58 - the regular JB price was $67.95) and then gave me 50% off… schweet. $29 a Wii-mote (includes motion plus) and lots of stock. I believe the pink and blue ones are pricier at HN, but all the same price at JB.
KMart Chermside price-matched no worries on the Wii Remote Plus. Just take the Harvey Norman catalog in with you.
Got a call from HN Aspley on Friday - picking it up in the weekend.
