Thanks - looking good until I saw no NFC. Deal breaker for me.

I'm a bit confused. I have this phone and it has NFC? Haven't set it up yet but it says I can use it with Tap and Pay.

      • Thanks updated.

        Also Mobileciti local stock.

      • I bought this from mobileciti a month or so ago and it definitely has NFC

        • I was just reading off the listing so that's interesting it has NFC.

          • @iuselect: Yeah, it's weird. It seems like most versions of this phone don't have NFC, but official Australian stock seems to.

  • Says on there site no NFC . Yes B28 Dual sim YES.

I'm not sure about NFC. I have this phone, and after seeing the NFC tags post recently, looked into my phone.

It allows you to turn NFC on in settings, and there are sites which say it does have NFC. https://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/realme/7-pro/684569/ tells us it has NFC enabled.

It might be the case of yet another <insert expletive here> company having different versions of the same model for different markets.

Got mine from JB's, rather than an online seller. This may, or may not, be relevant.

  • GSMArena does say NFC is market/region dependent for this, but given Mobileciti says 100% Australian stock…

    No OLED

  • Can't decide if I should get the realme 7 pro or the poco x3. I don't game, but the 120hz would be nice. I ordered the poco x3 from Amazon UK, but still hasn't shipped.

  • I have this phone. Bought it for $479 at JB and can confirm that mine does have NFC. Use it with GooglePay. Not sure if the variant on sale here has it.

The phone is ok but coming from a position where I always got the top of the range Samsung/Apple it is definitely a mid range phone and I would have preferred getting a second hand P30 pro rather than this one. Apps crash more often on this phone than my previous S9+(broken screen was reason for replacement)

    • Been looking at the p30 Pro.

Almost double the price thought.. but good phone.

  • This phone has NFC listed on the Australian Realme site https://www.realme.com/au/realme-7-pro
The JB hifi listing shows NFC also as the wife was looking at one today instore, not a bad looking phone.

  • Who owns realme? I know it was some dig at Xiaomi's "Redmi" who in turn took a dig at Oppo by making a "Poco" phone.

  • Will JB price match?
