I've yet to see this basic 1080p Xiaomi monitor posted here and with Banggood having AU stock and a working coupon it's worth a share. Based on the review videos on the product page it looks to have a good display, but the downside is only having a single HDMI input and no VESA mounting.

Pretty expensive for a pretty bog standard monitor.

Why not just grab the Dell S2721HN?

One extra HDMI port, 75hz, 50 nits brighter, bigger display, doesn't cost that much more.

Ehhhh Xiaomi? If anything it promotes good discussion on what to actually buy!

-5 so 5 people think that there shouldn't be discussion on what else to buy.

I'd say the dell overall is a better choice for the $, i couldn't see myself buying a new 24" monitor at all these days, it is just too small, but at 1080p i would rather a 24 than a 27. I really feel a 1440p 27" should be the minimum these days for browsing, etc.

Terrible price for a generic 24" 1080p. Better to get the better spec Samsung IPS 24" LS24R350FHEXX 1920x1080 5ms 75Hz FreeSync HDMI VGA Gaming Monitor. Currently on sale for $139 @ places like MSY, Umart, Mwave, Shopping Express, PLE Computers and Online Computer if you need 24".

    • I just bought one the Samsung one from Mwave yesterday. I like the look of the xiaomi one more but I am still happy with my purchase as I wanted one with VESA mount
