Noticed that the Optus Samsung A21S Black is at the low price of $170. Those on Amaysim or others using the Optus network should be able to use this phone without unlocking. Unlocked version available at Officeworks $247.

      The review i watched on this painted a pretty good picture, especially for the price. Not sure about the oppo.

      My experience with the a20 is really good, while using it i sometimes forget I'm using it and not my note 9.

      My daughter has the Oppo. Generally decent. But apps crash more than i'd like and it has trouble with GPS sometimes.

        OW price matched and they had heaps in store. Tried to get them to Price Match the unlocked version but no luck.

        They would only price match the same Optus Locked A21S version.

        Got the A21S price matched at OW for $161.5‬0 however not as cheap as the $150 paid for the A20 last year.

              @[Deactivated]: You have been lucky to price match with your local OW. I outside now at OW Villawood 2163.
              After the manager couldn't find out whether the Amazon seller is a private or retail seller I was told that they couldn't price match it. Reason was that the Amazon deal is a "bundle deal (phone with SIM)". OW don't price match bundle deals…. hmmm 😒

                @Lone star: I didn't get them to price match Amazon but Target. Target is same price as Amazon and is a local store which they cannot deny to price match.

                  Anyway, when I was outside the OW I called a few other OW nearby me. There were 3 and all were busy on the phone line. I manged to get through to OW at postcode 2171. After about 15 mins on the phone they said I should be ok to price match. At the first store told me that I had to come instore. I won't contact them firstly to price match any Amazon deals in the future anymore.
                  Well, I finally grabbed one.

                    @Lone star: All Optus pre-paid phones come with a sim card, it's not tied to the phone in any way. You don't have to activate it.

                    Sounds like they were trying to make up an excuse not to price beat as usual.

                    OW sell both an 'unlocked' A21S and 'locked' (Optus) A21S

                    You are price matching the OW locked (Optus) A21S to the Target locked (Optus) A21S

                    Or are you saying you were trying to get them to sell you the 'unlocked' A21S version for $161.50 ?

                      @[Deactivated]: Sorry if I made it a little unclear. What I meant is if you have a closer look and Amazon and Target deal. Both of them come with a $30 prepaid Sim. OW at Villawood 2163 told me that because the deal comes with a $30 prepaid Sim, they won't price match. You got me now?

                          @WatchNerd: Hehe.. ok I tried to price match the locked phone deal. I knew for sure that I never could price match a locked mobile with an unlocked mobile deal. However, the manager at 2163 said that the Amazon deal is like "an apple" and the sale with ONLY the phone without SIM is like" a pear). So it's not an identical deal.

                            @Lone star: Just order it from Target with 15% cashback (up to $20) @ CashRewards - a much better deal. It is showing home delivery is available.

                        @Lone star: The OW A21S that does not come with a prepaid SIM means it is 'unlocked'
                        OW will most likely never price match a locked (Optus) phone deal to an OW 'unlocked' phone which is not subsidized by a network carrier

                        The Amazon and Target A21S are both locked (Optus) offers

                        However if someone has been able to get OW to price match and sell the 'unlocked' A21S for $161.50 please post the receipt
