Why would anyone get this over a S2421HS?

    Edit: I guess it's $30 cheaper

    • and S2421HS has shit ratings

@Poor Ass: If you’d actually read any of the one star rating, heaps of them are about delivery delays and shipping damage, nothing to do with the monitor itself.

I expect more people that are happy don’t bother to go back to the site and rate it positively either.

@Poor Ass: I just brought 2 of the S2421HS they're fine, they're a little dainty but feel substantial enough for the (old) deal price of $150. Would I have paid rrp? no. I used LOVEKEANU code as well.

Most of the recent negative reviews for S2421HS are people who had to wait months from the black-friday deals, the reviews overall across the web are quite good ( e.g Amazon 4.7 out of 5 stars across 645 reviews).

Remember too people are more inclined to leave a review upon a bad experience than a good one if they're going to bother at all, there's always going to be a percentage of factory duds or shipping mishaps, its statistics.

My friend recently brought this monitor above SE2417HG on its previous deal of $140, its feels about the same but looks a little less impressive, especially with the S2421HS stands and finish, she wishes she got one of mine.

One advantage is the SE2417HG has a thick bezel so it might hold up better if its being moved a lot or knocked around, the S2421HS have almost no bezel on the frame, this makes it appear a tad smaller and daintier

The panels have similar performance however backlight bleed is rather significant on mine S2421HS.

However $112.80 ($109.98 eBay Plus) Is a pretty awesome deal, but It appears they aren't mount compatible either, so you're stuck with that stump stand for good.

    • 75hz? Why would you go there

    • This one doesn’t have Displayport, the other monitor does.

    • This monitor is not mountable on a desk stand, the other monitor is.

It's impossible to go back to TN after using an IPS, no matter how low they can go for (especially Dell's monitors, praise unto whoever makes the panels)

  • Hi guys, I am looking for an ultrawide 34'' from Dell: P3421W, just for office work, project… (no gaming)

    https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-34-curved-usb-c-monitor…

Would you reckon this one over Xiaomi/Kogan? Thanks

Different price range between the Dell and XM/Kogan though.
Since you're not gaming I'd wager the XM/Kogan is enough due to being much cheaper than the dell.
I have the XM and it's been wonderful.
