      The country invented soy sauce?

      • Honkongese ?

        • Soy sauce should invented from mainland China. Hongkong as a town or city may only have 100-200yrs history.

  • Do these have alcohol in it… soya sauce sold in sushi shops does have alcohol as per shop persons

    • +1

Most sushi shops in shopping malls use the cheap chemically produced soy sauce. Real soy sauce is aged and fermented which releases a small amount of alcohol as part of the fermentation process.

  • +2

Real soy sauce is aged and fermented. These chemically accelerated soy sources are truly terrible. May as well just add salt to cheap beef stock.

  • Thanks
