I suspect this is to compensate for that missed Valentine double dollar due to snap lockdown.

@burningrage: Crown has 2 dancerush cabinets side by side, so you can do group play, it arrived during the first lockdown iirc. There's only one other dancerush cabinet which is located in Timezone Highpoint but the machine sensors are quite scuffed, making it unplayable.

Double dollars adds money value into your TZ card so you can spend it all that day or some other time.

You kids these days with your damn cards don't know what you're missing. I remember when timezone used coins. In those days, we called timezone, 'the place to be.' Anyway, you would go up to the money grubber, which you call 'cashier', and take a one dollar note. "Give me five twenties" you would say. Which were five twenty cent pieces. Now, that would get you two goes at Double Dragon with a twenty left over to get a bag of mixed lollies from the corner store on the way home. Unless you got a box of fags, which were the coolest cigarette lollies a kid you buy. Now, at home you had to work for your keep. Mum called these chores. "Get out and chop the wood!" She would yell. Which in summer meant she needed hot water.
