Saw this in a computer forum, the deal has been verified there.
Pixelmator Pro is one of the best photo editing apps on Mac OS. It usually retails for A$62.99.

The website is in German. Use Google translation to help you navigate. You need to tick some boxes, sign up for the newsletter with your second email or a temp email service like (https://temp-mail.org/en/). Then you can download the app. It is a full-featured demo version with all features available for use and has unlimited use time. However, the app won't be upgradable. The good news is the version of the download is 2.06 with M1 chip support while the same app is still 2.05 in the Mac App Store.

        That looks to be the classic version in 2015, and it was direct from Pixelmator themselves not 'falkmedia'.

      Inside the zip you download from the site they have a PDF of the pages from the magazine this was given away in.

      The app is called "Pixelmator Pro Demo.app" so I am not sure if this is even the full version.

    But the link goes to some hobby magazines to purchase.

    Someone figured that out or is everyone getting newsletters in German?

      We're all getting German newsletters. I couldn't get the alternate to work either… I'm sure they're breaking GDPR rules by not offering a non-spammy option properly, but maybe someone with time (jv?) can follow up with the EU….

      edit: I did not try a German VPN, but GDPR rules apply to EU citizens living abroad anyway…

        Further to downloading and running it, it seems its a full-featured demo. As they've moved to the App Store now, "Version 2.0.6 Junipero" doesn't look to be supported.

        "To receive updates with the latest features, you can buy the full version of Pixelmator Pro from the Mac App Store."

        But App Store is 2.0.5. ^_^

    Used a temp email and downloaded it. Will run a scan on it. I used the Pixelmator giveaway a while back and I have used it a lot. Pretty good software deal if it's a full version edition.
