        Which is a shame as I now have Steam and Origin (dam u EA and BF3), and whatever Ubisoft is up to with their piggyback DRM on a few Steam games I have.. and now Capsule.

          Just to confirm - the key given definitely is not accepted by Steam.

      I loged in 30min ago and added it to my cart with 13min left .. I'm on the checkout pagfe trying the coupon over and over as it gets close its slow but not dead to me.

      Games download as a massive zip file (of some sort, I really haven't checked). They're downloaded as a temporary 'bigfile' and uncompressed / installed. However they (like Steam), show up in the Capsule software. I can't see why the files can't be moved then installed.

      Scheduled maintenance - So they scheduled some website maintenance bang on 12am which happens to coincide with a free game give away !!!!!

      I would send them an email and complain but either Green Man Gaming or Gamersgate (cant remember which) are apparently very touchy. I have heard a few stories about people getting their accounts banned because they complained about poor service.

        Maintenance = lack of preparation. They obviously weren't expecting so many people to flock over to the site due to the freebie or the sale that had commenced.

        30 minutes "maintenance" is another way of saying "we're going to give it a 30 minute break. Hopefully, this will reduce the traffic once we are back up, so we don't have server issues.".

          There'll be tons of refreshing required, don't worry as it doesn't lose your progress and keeps the item in your basket for 10 mins or so. Just got mine, took ages.

        probably a bit late but I just went through and hit refresh whenever a 502, 504 or maintenance page came up. In the check-out entered the code and then pressed the Enter key, didn't click on the link they have because that didn't work. Then pressed check-out. Wouldn't let me through to the check-out page but a activation email arrived and downloading now :)

    I got one but I don't know how. Applied coupon OK, clicked "Checkout" and got "Error 502: Bad Gateway". Started my F5 loop, no luck, and gave up after 15 minutes. A confirmation e-mail arrived shortly after with my activation code.

    Got it. Took a while. I found I'd put 3 or 4 browsers all sending the "Instruction" at a time. one of them would eventually go in and you get 3 or 4 going to the next step. Took a while but got there in the end.

    Biggest problem was I got through it all and wasn't logged in. Doh! Start again!

    They are saying there are lots of keys. We'll see.

    That was painful had 2 computers running
    one with opera refreshing every 30 seconds
    then another running chrome firefox and ie
    got to the checkout stage around 10 times and got bad gateways every time
    finally internet explorer came in for the save and after 3 shots of the store again it worked

    2 hours and 15 minutes , hope the game is worth it

    Finally managed to get it, after refreshing on the checkout page and finally being redirected to the download page, which was an error page anyway, but the URL suggested it was the download page - checked my user account page (refreshing about 5 times until it showed up) and it was there.

    Was actually afraid I would miss this because I had to pick someone up at the airport at 11:30pm, and so only just came back (tried to get on the website via smartphone + 3G while waiting at the airport, but only got the error pages).

    Kept getting 'bad gateway' error and 'website is down for 30 mins' but kept trying and eventually got it.

    Their servers must be taking a hammering.

    Been playing the game for about an hour now… it's a bit like a cross between crisis and farcry, without any of the good stuff that make those games unique and interesting. You can pick ar's in place of your sniper rifle so it's not just sniping, also you come equiped with a pistol and knife. All in all for a free game this a great, but i wouldn't pay more than $5 for it..
