Saw this at Bunnings Cannington today. Lots of stock. Not a bad idea to keep a few handy in case of lockdowns or when air travel is possible again.

    The packaging says KN95, I'm wondering if these were poorly made ones that didn't quite meet specification so they're calling them dust masks.

      The KN95 is printed on the mask itself. That should mean something right? No idea why they wrote dust mask instead of just face mask.

        How much it means is how much you trust the Chinese Government in holding up those standards.
        KN95 is the Chinese “equivalent” to US N95s, Aus P2, Europe FFP2, etc.

          @NigelTufnel: From my understanding KN95 (94% filtration) isn't even the same as N95 (95% filtration); as there are difference in the testing. Whether that 1% is going to mean anything in the real world is another debatable.
