Amazon have dropped the price of the Eufy 4 Camera system, probably to beat JB Hi-fi who also have it on sale.

      My eufy 2c cameras can via rtsp. I did it with my truenas system. From my brief testing it seemed to bypass the homebase and app so I gave up due to the limited usefulness. Others might have had more success.

      It can record constantly too but will eat into the battery life. Afaik the doorbell cannot record to a nas.

        I think that's the deal breaker for me…
        Will focus on getting a good PoE setup instead…

              it depends on the sensitivity you set and the recording profile you choose.
              high sensitivity and optimal surveillance eats battery quicker than default sensitivity and optimal battery life.

                  @jv: based on my experience, while advertised battery life of eufycam 2c is 6 months. it's around 30% battery left around 3 months after recharge. When I had sensitivity turned up and recording size more than 20 seconds, I hit 3x% battery around 6~8 weeks after full recharge.

      Its not the same model. I am waiting for the order I managed to place a month back for $349. Its delayed for that model. Personally I would like to know why this model is so pricy compared to the other 4pk.

    I've got the 2C and it's decent enough for my needs, but setting activity zones is hit and miss. Sometimes it picks up everything and other times I can walk past and not get captured. Does anyone know if there is anyway to get all cameras to record when activity is detected in one zone of one camera only? This would make a huge difference to me because cameras would commence recording before someone enters there zone and you get all of the activity captured.

      Yep, There is an automation setting where if one camera detects activity other cameras can be activated and start recording too. Have this set with a driveway camera activates my front door camera cos typically by the time the front door starts recording i only saw the back of the postie walking away after dumping my parcel.
