  • The price showed up as AUD but when proceeded to payment it changed to Euro. Is there a way to pay as AUD, op? Also the service fee increases with the amount of keys too. It's not a flat fee

    • Hey there,

Using PayPal should resolve the currency issue.

The prices indicated in the description of the deal show the final price after service fees and coupon (might fluctuate by a few cents due to conversion rate).

      Cheers,
      A guy from Eneba

But wouldn't that mean you pay PayPal's subpar conversion rate (so you are not better off if you have a card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fee and has decent conversion rate)?

        • +1

          Hey,

Varying conversion rates are definitely a pain in the rear.
I see that PayPal's conversion rate is around 4% higher than the global one, so I'll update the description accordingly.

          Cheers for bringing this up,
          The same guy from Eneba

I paid $12.30 via PayPal for 10 weeks.

  • Pity this is multiple of 7 day vouchers, rather than a true 1 month voucher code. If this were true 1 month voucher code, you would get turn on recurring billing for 1 extra month free offer. Then, cancel it (still 2 months).

  • so if i have 10 codes, can i add them all to my account at once or do i need to do it each 7 days?

    • +2

add them all asap, you dont want to leave codes lying around unused

  • +6

Be aware, I just bought 10 codes, when tried to redeem show they have been redeemed

    • +4

      Same here….

      • Already logged a case with both their support and paypal just in case…

        • +1

It still shows up in your https://account.microsoft.com/services/

If the code has already been redeemed it will tell you straight away instead of loading and then tell you.

        • +7

This is a known issue. the month still gets applied to your account. Best to check your game pass ultimate expiry date first before you apply a code so you can see it works even though it says already redeemed

          • @brandogs: Mine didn't work I had purchased 12 and only 3 have activated.

If I go to Microsoft purchase history it only shows 3 new gamepass additions.

Does yours show that each individual had been added in your history section?

    • +3

Double check your order history in your Microsoft account. These codes constantly come up saying already redeemed but are infact successful.

      • nah… checked and confirmed not there :(

    • Check your expiry time. I’ve had this happen but it turns out the codes worked.

      Edit: beaten. Also, damn.

    • +1

that's normal, this discussion is had every time this deal is posted. check your actual date extension to confirm if it worked.

  • +1

my 2 cents: always check and note your current expiry date before redeeming. i.e expires on 01/01/2022 then add 70 days to it in (MS excel is the easiest to do calcs) if you bought 10. after redeeming all codes check your new expiry date it should be 3/12/2022. i just activated 10, got error on 9 still have the 70 full days

    • Does your order history show that it was added?

      • Mine added to my expiry date but none of them added to my order/payment history.

  • +2

I just bought 10 codes, and MS said they were all used… HOWEVER, on the MS order history page, they were all redeemed correctly.

Make sure you check this page for your history: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/

  • Purchased 8 keys, 5 said they were redeemed by they went through fine.

  • +1

I just bought 10 codes for $13.58 all worked fine I've never had an issue with this site, happy I found this as I've got till June now and by then hopefully another deal comes out

    • Too bad.

You could have let your subscription lapse, then you could buy Gold subscription if it's on sale somewhere (it's bound to be cheaper than Ultimate in any case).

After that you could still use the $1 conversion to Ultimate (description how to do it is on ozbargain but I'm too tired to go look for it, you can google it).

The only requirement is that you have zero days of Gold, Ultimate, or Game Pass left in your account.

AND make sure that autorenew or autorecharge on your subscription is OFF.

I don't know how long Microsoft is going to let people convert to Ultimate this way, but it's been possible for a long time.

Microsoft may have disabled this by now since last time I checked the post on ozbargain was two or three months ago, or may disable it by the time your subscription runs out.

So if anyone can confirm or deny if it's still possible to do it this way, I'd appreciate it, so I'm not giving people old information.

  • I have roughly 3 years stacked. Can I stack beyond that with these?

    • 3 is the max isnt it?

  • Wow, purchased 10 x 7 day passes and this is dodgy AF. I am almost 100% certain these are stolen or purchased using stolen CC details. Of the 10 I bought, all of them added to my account but all 10 of them errored when adding them saying they had already been used and none of them have shown up in my orders history…

An upvote for being great value, a downvote for being dodgy AF…

I assume These were from a Pringles and probably several other giveaways.

      • So how do you explain the amount of used codes. I brought 12 only 3 worked.

        • No idea but my assumption would be sent codes that weren’t checked off as sent. I’ve bought a stack of codes from JB once and 1 was used out of the several I had.

    • +5

Like JMxoxo pointed out, most likely promotion codes (from Pringles) or some other ones. You cannot buy these 7 day codes from Microsoft normally. Microsoft wants you to pay $15 (if you previously had GamePass Ultimate).

  • This is the best deal i have ever had, bought 70 days worth and they all worked. Also bought another 70 days for when that expires, hope it works.

Also for those wanting to make multiple purchases, you may get blocked on subsequent purchases, there are ways around this. I used paypal the second time instead of card and it worked.

  • I ordered 10 x 7 day codes, they all error-ed out, but my account reflected the changed date (+70 days). All good so far. I then ordered 6 x 14day codes for $15. None of them worked. I've lodged a service ticket, and uploaded screenshots, but they wanted me to take separate screenshots for each key. Turning out to be a bit of a hassle now. Will update how it goes.

    • +1

All the 14 day cards I can see are for trials, so won’t stack or work on excising accounts?

      • The ones I got weren't trials, maybe they sold out when you had a look. I've raised a support ticket with them. They've forwarded it to the vendor they can't understand why they didn't work either. Too much of a hassle for $15 bucks IMO.

        • So they got back to me saying the supplier says these are valid codes. I need to wait until my existing subscription expires to try them again. I don't think this is a solution to the codes not working. My subscription expires after 3 months. As I said earlier, too much of a hassle for 15 bucks. Now I need to wait for 3 months to try codes which possibly will not work and need to repeat this all over.

  • I’ve bought 20, all added to my account fine.

      • Sorry mate it's GMDRH and the rest the same

  • +1

So how dodgy are these and how likely are you to get your account banned? Where is OP's site getting them from?

    • Pringles promotions

  • I got 10 just now and all worked fine.
As soon as you put in the code, it identifies as a 7day Game pass voucher, will tell you its already redeemed however your order history and renewal date will reflect correctly.
    Cheers

If you guys need one month of gamepass just pm me, here's another one:

    Cheers

    • Thank you <3

    • Hi, can I get it too please?

  • Anyone know if I can use a 7 day voucher to upgrade my gold to ultimate?

    • the 7 day game pass voucher includes gold

  • +1

    Currently $1.13 a week. I just got 10 weeks for $12.

  • None of what I purchased worked.

I've added them and check the history and nothing showing up.

But I seeit has worked for some here so can't comment if the company is dodgy or not.
