I'm not sure if it's just my local one but the pizza prices are horrifically inflated for standard pizzas.

    • +7

      That’s Crust standard pricing

    • +8

They are very good pizzas with quality ingredients. So many people try and compare prices to dominos. I had a crust pizza recently and it was a generous size. If people still find the need to compare to dominos, dominos is very pricey with delivery, and they dont seem to travel well.

      • In most metropolitan areas there's at least 5 local small businesses that would have better ingredients/lower cost of pizza. It's good to know that it's at least tasty for expensive pizzas

  • +2

Hmm so that gets you 1 pizza lol

Crust is so expensive now I can’t believe it. They used to be my go to but they’ve priced themselves out of my radar.

    • +3

      $40 gets you 1 pizza?

Their most expensive gourmet signatures extra large are priced at $21 each at my local with discount comes to $32 for 2 pick up

      • hmm I would pay less at my local italian restaurant, and I reckon it is better quality. Crust seems too expensive for a chain, even with this discount imho.

      • I was exaggerating clearly. But $21 for a medium sized pizza 13" is quite expensive. Most other local pizza aorund here is $16-18 for a family size which is literally double the size.

        • The most expensive large is $25 for me which is too much I feel.

        People like to over exaggerate.

    • Im the same, they used to be good, but then became expensive, Better pizza's around for the same money. Crust listen up

How did this get upvoted? The website and the app do not allow you to combine codes.

Haven't had a Crust pizza since they were giving them out free. That was the only time they were worth their price.

    • +2

you obviously dont know much about a quality pizza and would rather eat carboard from dominos

  • Thanks OP. Giving them a try Tonite. 2pizzas and garlic bread, hopefully it's good

    • what did you think?

      • +1

I though overall it was good. Generous toppings. Prefer deep pan crust but it was fine. Can recommend the peri peri chicken. I loved it. I didn't realize the sizes are getting smaller and smaller though. Big look like middle size now. With discount I think it's okay. But unless I'm feeling rich I won't buy them normally.

        • Cool. Used to get it often but haven't in a while. There's an independent pizza shop near me that's similarly priced but just slightly better tasting. May give Crust another try with this discount although not promising to hear they've reduced the size. Looks like they've changed large to extra large, but still the same inches as what was formerly a large.

@Ryder08: A lot of people agree with you.

          • +2

@Ryder08: Just found out ubereats runs a buy 1 get 1 free promo Mon to Wed. You could get 2 pizzas for much lower prize price using this promo.

            • @Jared17: That's not bad - thanks for that.

            • @Jared17: Great tip, will have a look, cheers.

Crust is a 2 minute walk from me, so Uber eats is a total waste.

            • @Jared17: Is the uber deal still running?

Probably something going on with my computer somehow but I'm really struggling to work with this broke ass website. Forced me to change my password but wouldn't accept any of the three different lastpass generated passwords I tried despite them complying with their rules. Now I've managed to login there is a deal for 2xXL Pizzas for $40.95 that it says is valid at my selected store and expires 30/04/21 but when selecting it it says "sorry that deal has expired".

comparing a pizzahut/domino to crust pizza is retarded, its levels above that shit they serve in dominos, quality ingredients quality dough, great taste flavour smell. i only eat crust. shoutout to peri peri chicken.

    • +1

Peri Peri Chicken is the main reason I love Crust. The avocado one is also very nice

      • there is this new Vietnamese chicken one i haven't tried yet, looks decent

      • I agree. Their peri peri is good

      • With you that it's part of the standard order

  • So I tried them out thanks to this deal and while they were good I don't think I would buy from them again without the $10 discount as it is a bit expensive for what you get.

The peri peri chicken was indeed really good as others here have said, all the toppings were of high quality (especially the chicken) and went well together, the peri peri sauce was light enough to give a nice spicy tang to it while not being too hot to detract from anything else. I also ordered the margherita which was a bit sub par, it was possibly even worse than the margheritas you can get from Domino's or Pizza Hut. I have had many margherita pizzas from other places that were better than what they had to offer here. The pizzas were quite large at 13 inches but also really thin, so they weren't all that much bigger than what you'd get from other places despite looking larger at a glance. Garlic bread was good, a bit better than what you get at most places, but also a bit smaller I think.

My recommendation is that if you can get a $10 discount or some other good offer and are wanting to try a special pizza with lots of toppings (their $21 options) go for it as their thin bases and quality ingredients are perfect for that kind of thing, but their standard pizzas aren't anything special and would be better off left alone.
