Most Skmei watches have shot up in price. This is the cheapest one I could find that looked good.
This model is similar to my favourite Skmei 1134 which is still going strong on the same battery after more than 3 years.
The 6918 has a glossy finish & is smaller.

    You might be able to remove that. I removed some of the white writing on my skmei 1134.
    You can hardly notice it now, stands out more in the photo.

  I like it all 😄. I think any casio collectors would love this - it looks like it's trying to give the impression of casio's tide and moon features. Really though, an opportunity missed; imagine if they misspelled reset as rest! That would have doubled it's value for me 😊. Quartz accuracy with easy to read day, date and time - it's amazing that they can be made so cheaply.

    I don't think people who buy a watch for under $10 care what others think.

    I've got two Skmei 1134 which are slightly bigger and the text around the edge is hardly noticeable in the flesh, it stands out more in the photos.

      Got 2 SKMEI. 1 as replacement of the other.
      Both watches didn't last longer that its battery… about 2 months then the screen went blank … Still beeping every now and then.
      I guess you got a point… 'JAPAN BATTERY' quality says something.
      When put it on… it drawn people's attention to the label on the watch and start making a lot of unflattering comments.

      Initially, I thought a $10 bucks watch… why not.
      After the experience, lesson learnt. DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
      And to be honest… a $10 bucks SKMEI are all over the place within AliXpress. You can even spot one easily and quite frequently.
      Just sharing my experience and by no means have any intention of stopping anyone from buying it.

        Wow that's so rude, what kind of people would say that? I've been wearing them for years when I'm working as a tradie & never had anyone comment on them.

        And to be honest… a $10 bucks SKMEI are all over the place within AliXpress.

        This isn't $10 though. Regardless there's not many at $10 or less by the time you convert it to AUD & add GST, here is a search.

        My Skmei from an older deal is going great after three years. Build quality is better than anything you would buy in a dept store for the same or similar price.

  Any thoughts on this Skmei 1762 for ~AU$15.92 ? Seems a good price compared to elsewhere about $25. I want an occasional-use cheap watch with 100M WP that can be used shallow swimming but that isn't complete garbage.

  The issue with the Skmei 1134 & similar Casio clones, is that they do not display the current time in stopwatch mode,but the DW5600 does.
