The point of this mouse is that u don't need more than one mouse … But this color is sooooo gooooood

    • This colour gets dirty though.

  • Yep if i hadnt already reached the quarters quota for impulse buys id jump on this despite having the standard grey.

    • Why? Is this colour better looking?

      • Yes it's gorgeous. It's also an awesome mouse that I wouldn't mind having at work as well as home.

  • Good deal, good mouse and good color.

  • +3

Can't believe I paid 215 for this colour at the start of covid ..ah wheel…

    • +2

      earlier buy, earlier joy.

      • and i've wheelie enjoyed it ;-)

        no regrets

  • -1

    price beat at ow?

    • OW doesn't sell the color.
And Kogan sells the international version, not a local version (for this case).

  • +1

International version & Direct Import managed by Kogan.

Would Logitech Australia honour its warranty?

  • -1

Shame it is a RIGHT HANDED mouse

    • +8

you need to visit the Leftorium then neighbourino!

      • +1

It's like wearing nothing at all!

  • +7

Light grey will turn to light brown in a few months.

    • +7

you have some explaining to do…

    • and if light brown turns grey you're doing it wrong

  • thanks OP bought one…!!!

  • +1

Honest question: why are mice so expensive? Even a g402 from 2014 costs 50 bucks at normal price today

    • Well designed, lasts longer and easy to fix = people won't upgrade as often = companies charge more to compensate.

      • Fair enough I guess. That’s probably the case with these office mice, although I bought a g402 for 30 bucks on BF and I don’t feel like it should cost half a green one

        • +1

It could be that the G402 was a really good mouse?
I remember way back there was this amazing Logitech mouse, the Logitech MX518… oh man that mouse was a tank and it performed well! It was loved by many gamers for many years and the price of that mouse didn’t fluctuate much. In fact, Logitech even did a refresh of that mouse!

  • 6 days ago bought at $119+7.99. On doorstep today. Using for the past half hour Bluetooth'd to Surface Go and Android phone. I like it! The colour too. Tracked on clear plastic; haven't tried glass. Fun fidget spinner…

No Logitech software got automatically installed (that I noticed) and no optional software was offered by Windows Update, unusually… (may be because I disabled Logitech software autorun from past Logi' devices that I'm inoculated now…).

Why doesn't the side scroll wheel move Explorer file list pane's horizontal scrollbar. (Rhetorical - I'll Google later.)

Unifying USB receiver in box - intend to try and use with two receivers eventually…

    • +2

A lot of apps don't recognise horizontal scrolling. Not sure of the reason behind it but I've had this with MX Master 1 and another mouse before that

Logi Options app (which you're right doesn't auto install) lets you adjust what the horizontal scroll does (zoom in/out and a few others) if that is preferred by some.

  • and don't forget $5 off your 7th order from Kogan

  • Can DPI be changed for gaming?

    • +1

nah, if you game, get another mouse on top.

  • +1

    Impulse bought

  • i used one from the jan deal and sold it last week as it made my index finger stretch down the top curve [ was giving me RSI] - my 2 cents

  • wasn't this the colour of all mouses back in 1991?

    • +1

That would be biege like the current noctua fans

    • they were mostly white or beige.

      I don't consider notctua's fans beige. They're a little bit too red.

  • Just bought two, one for home and one for work, finally making the jump to MX master 3. This will be my 4th and 5th MX master… jeez

    • i would too, its the usb c thats amazing!!
but i am waiting for my mx1 to die lol

  • Whilst WFH in 2020 by work issued wireless logitech keyboard died and since I wasn't able to physically go see IT I bought a new keyboard and got myself a Leopold mechanical keyboard (was able to partially expense it and claim remainder as tax deduction) and holy moly what a difference it has made! typing is so much more enjoyable, accurate and quicker but most of all enjoyable :)

After coming back into the office in 2021 and using some one else's keyboard, same as my old one can't imagine going back to it.

Now I'm questioning my mouse and wondering whether buying a fancy one at my own expense would have the same difference.

Current work issued one is a Logitech M705 which I find completely adequate (although I found the original keyboard also fine at the time). do you think buying this would make a significant enjoyment of use difference?

for reference I spend 95% of office time in excel, PowerPoint and outlook.

    • +1

I went from the m720 to the MX master. If your working with large/wide excel spreadsheets. Yes it’s worth it for the horizontal scrolling alone.

Ergonomics the mx is better for larger hands, it did get a bit of getting used to initially.

I use if for dark field tracking so it can be used without a mat on reflective surfaces such as glass, so handy when I’m moving around with a laptop.

The MX Master 3 is supposed to have better tracking and charging over the MX master as well

      • thanks for the feedback and insight :)

  • +1

Wow these products are getting a lot of OzB posts.

  • +2

Bought a few for work. Thanks. Not worth saving ~$19 for the 2S

  • +4

15% off birthday sale doesn't apply unfortunately.

  • how does this compare to the MX2?

    • +2

USB C, more ergonomic thumb back and forth buttons, machined scroll wheel.

  • Does anyone know if there’s any advantages or disadvantages of this on MacOS compared to the “mx master 3 for Mac” version?

    • +1

This comes with the unifying receiver - so its advantageous to get this.
That being said the mac version comes with USB C to USB C cable rather than USB A to USB C cable.

Otherwise the hardware is the same.

      • Does this version work well with MacOS? I saw someone selling one on FB market place saying it doesn't work well with MacOS

        • Fine for me. The scrolling can be a little hit and miss - but that's a logitech software problem IMP having a few different logitech mice.

There's a reversify app for mca that's free if required to fine tune the scroll direction (including horizontal)

  • Finally! Waited for a good deal to use up $40 credit voucher I had on Kogan! Snagged it for $77 shipped after the credit. Thanks OP!!

  • Just curious, has anyone tried this with an iPad? Tossing up between this or an Anywhere 3.

    • Works fine. iPad mousing is just a bit weird in itself.

  • I really want this for some reason.

  • +2

How does this compare with the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S Mouse? Anyone had experience with both
