  • Regarding the 3 out hdmi.. What specs do they put out?

My onkyo has 2 hdmi out but doesn't seem to do 4k on the second out making the receiver useless for what I bought it to do.

    • +2

You'd wanna hope they're all 4k at this price

    • +1

Looks to be 4k across all 3, download the manual to be sure though.

      https://au.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/4/1206424/…

    • From waht I've read they're 4K outputs. However it does look like it is only HDMI 2.0, rather than 2.1

      • The manual doesn't even show the third hdmi out port lol.

        • yeah, it's calling it a zone out on the third. Which I don't quite understand(Possibly audio only???), but reviews have all shown the first 2 to be standard 4k/60

  • -2

Thanks bought 3 for just $1999 each.

  • Can only upscale zone 2 to 4k from 1080p. That's very limiting. All my old consoles would still need to go through a framemeister first.

  • I'm only seeing the price of $2695.

  • Great AMP, But wouldn't have Hdmi 2.1 support

  • +4

i understand the sales in March & April on Yamaha Amps now, as the new high-end HDMI 2.1 compliant models are coming out in May.

i'm personally waiting for these, to confirm backward compatibility…. nearly there!

ozbargain seems to be turning into an advertising website… i've bought registered vehicles for less than this. free second series xbox SAD unit doesn't sweeten the deal… bittersweet maybe… would sell a few more if you paired it with a series X.

    • +8

Can you show me where I can find the RX-V2085 for less than $1999 ?

      • +1

Agreed, it's a good price in the current market.

  • @Radio Parts
Any discount on the Yamaha RX-V6A?

  • The Yamaha RX-V2085 AV Receiver was released in mid 2018. So almost 3 years old. In terms of AV receivers thats quiet old, even though its's still a current model. The price is still good with the bonus Xbox one S.

    Review and detailed specs

why all the negativity? repremanded by store reps? i fail to see the bargain here… at least the car i bought for 1,200 came with a stereo and 4 speakers.
