      Yeah~Please supply the lamp with enough output voltage that is AC/DC 12V-24V to ensure reliable operation. Low voltage transformer, wires and connectors are required for installation.

    Hi fellow Ozbargainers,
    JesLed asked me to review these, so I purchased them from Amazon.

    Here is a summary of my opinion\findings;

    Each light is individually wrapped, not that I would recommend but if don't need all 8, sell or keep as a spare. In my testing they work with any 12v transformer that can output 7w per light.

    Feels a quality product, I pulled them apart and appear well made and all-weather.

    I found these were bright enough at 12v, the product does support a 24v transformer and I tested with a 24v transformer, however I would not recommend a 24v as in my opinion it MAY reduce the LED LifeSpan and increase brightness. These are already quite bright. (Yellowish)

    For the novice (Like me) you will also require:
    - 2 wire cable (Don't skimp, get decent wire min 1.2mm or 18guage (smaller gauged is bigger). If the wire is too small the lights may not get the power they require and transformer may need to work harder.

    • A 12v or 24v transformer (min 60 watts, probably a 100watts as most manufactures overstate their wattage), and these consume 7watts each (52watts total) This is a pretty standard item at most hardware stores.

    • Optional: Landscape Light Connectors (makes installation a breeze)

      Note: Connectors of sorts in Australia are really difficult to obtain, so had to order from Amazon in the US. Which is why I also purchased the cables from Amazon in the US to combine for the free prime postage.

    In summary you get what you pay for, but once you have installed the lights the results are very pleasing and can light up a very large area. Placement with lights is also key.

      So it doesn't come with any connectors? That's a bit dodgy…
      I presume this would work to hook into an existing HPM cable attached to a 12V transformer, presuming there's sufficient wattage available?

        It comes with a few self terminating connector with some glue(?) inside.
        Not as fancy as the landscape connector but sort of does the job.

        Yeah, it doesn't come with any connectors. Because of the expensive cost.
        Please supply the lamp with enough output voltage that is AC/DC 12V-24V to ensure reliable operation. Low voltage transformer, wires and connectors are required for installation.

      How to say, this is cheap than other landscape lights.
      Virtually landscape lights on the market have no connectors.

      I see it more like buying upgrades ( sport rims , recaro bucket seat , other that fancy you)

      My garden comes with old 10w 12v halogen lights from the old owner which none works.
      I retrofit the old halogen with this new ones. I still need 10 more if I want to retrofit all but at the moment, its like daytime there and my neighbour might complain! The leds are quite bright.
