              • @slick7: The S21+ still has better battery life even though the screen is bigger. It has the same number of pixels as the S21 (so slightly lower resolution) so the extra screen size doesn't require much (any?) extra power. The + versions have almost always had superior battery life to the non-plus models and this iteration is no different. Coming from a non-plus S9, which struggled to get through the day at times, and reading lots of comments about the non-plus S21 not having the best battery life, it was a no-brainer for me.

    • Which email did you use to get the voucher? is it [email protected]? I've been sending them emails but I still haven't got it till now. It's frustrating how their email registration doesn't work well

      • [email protected] with a follow-up on chat and they will escalate.

        • I didn't read carefully :(

Apparently the voucher will only be available for next purchase

For limited time get $50 off when you spend $350 or more in one transaction by signing up to receive Samsung communications

          • +1

@viperfx07: nvm, apparently still got it even though no purchase made yet, but it's way too late. their newsletter system sucks

    • i signed up for the $50 coupon 3 times over the last week, using the same email as my samsung account. have receive no coupon email.

also signed up for stock alerts, and also received no email when things were back in stock.

logged into my samsung account, received email notification about new login straight away.

used online chat to ask about coupon. was told they put in a request to the relevant department to check/confirm and it will take up to 5 days.

ended up buying without coupon due to varying stock

  • Just a quick reply to my own post further up, and for anyone else having the issue with getting the message "Sorry, due to an error, trade-in service is unavailable at the moment".
Even though I already had a trade in code, the website didn't accept it, until after I had put in my credit card details in the trade up app itself. It wasn't enough that I was already signed in to the samsung website in my own account.
Finally picked up a 128gig grey s21. Pretty sure the 128gig will be more than enough for me as I don't really "game" anymore on the phone, and very few other apps installed that I really need or use. Should be a nice upgrade from my galaxy s9. Thanks to the op for posting up this deal. Saved a few hard earned $$$

    • Gaming uses very little storage. It's more about recording lots of videos and storing offline music, movies and tv.

  • +2

This deal would be even sweeter of we could apply for the free buds promotion too! (Telstra only 😓)

  • The S21 256GB Violet and Pink are back in stock.

    • Bought violet today afternoon, Pink out of stock now.

      BTW, already shipped.

      • Still waiting for the 256GB grey back in stock before March 29.

        • I think it was today

        • The 256gb for 128gb price ends tomorrow though 24/3

"Buy the 256GB for the price of the 128GB. Ends 24/03/2021 4T&C's apply."

          • @retainer:

256GB is a 'free upgrade' promo ending 29 March

            ozbargain details said 29March

        • Sorry, there is multiple promo. 24th is the 256GB for everyone (updated). I have access to EPP, which has special price $1149 for S21+ 256GB ending 29 March. I got those two mixed up. I can help you get the S21+ for $1149 if that helps?

EPP trade in bonus is $300 as RRP is already lower. So $1149 - $300 - $15 = $834 (if you qualify for the minimum $15 trade in).

    • All OOS now.

  • Why no comments on 50% off Samsung care? Worth it or not?

    • It's not worth it.

    • +1

You can get Samsung care or directly with Asurion, who provides Samsung care. They fixed my cracked screen for $49 (yes, it took around 4-5 working days turnaround). Sending it to them took 5 min at Post Office. Returning came back to me via courier. RRP to fix screen would be $300+ at shops. Monthly fee is $12/mth v upfront for Samsung care. Highly recommend.

      • My thought exactly but not much chat here about it, $6pm @ 50%
Even a battery replacement at the end of 24months would be worth the $150 investment

  • Any suggest for flip case S21 other than original?

  • Just looking for some guidance regarding sending in my old phone. Received my new phone today, and per my discussions with Samsung Chat they said an email with additional instructions should be coming shortly. Wondering how long it took everyone else to receive an email from Asurion?

As I am slightly concerned as the deal states the phone must be returned within 7 days. Any information will be greatly appreciated

    • I'd say just enjoy your new phone. The 7-day return window seems arbitrary if you haven't received an email from Asurion.

Out of curiosity, did you receive any box/packaging material to send your phone back to Asurion? I'm fairly sure I read that they send you a box/package to send your phone back.

      • +2

They send you an email, which directs you to the PO. The PO will scan then give you a suitable package to return the mobile.

        • Thanks for the clarification, thought that was case. Just wanted to confirm with someone who had already been through it.

In terms of the physical package, just the Phone and packing slip is all I received.

          • +2

@marpy016: Yep, took mine to the PO today. They scan the code in the email, the assistant went and found the relevant post pack, they pack the device into it, stick the labels on and send you on your way.

            • @wombat81: Just an update on situation. Emailed the support address '[email protected]' and explained my situation i.e didn't receive the email with return details. Basically just told me to check my spam/junk folder (which I already had) because the email had been sent.

I responded to the email stating I am unable to return the phone given the the lack of return details. Tried contacting Samsung via chat and phone, they could only direct me back to the aforementioned email adress.

At this stage I'm worried because I'm not sure what to do next other than just wait. The thought of being slugged for the trade in/bonus $500 for something I have no control over is infuriating.

              • @marpy016: Today I received a 2nd email from them asking me to return the device ( traded up a week ago) - had done so yesterday but hasn't arrived to them yet. 2nd email says another 7 days to send it in, so I would say you have a bit more time.

                • @dcs29: Okay, well that seems reasonable then. As I imagine there may be some lag given the deal was quite popular.

On a different note, I see the S21 128 GB has dropped by $150…kinda stings :(

                  • @marpy016: And Samsung has been handing out $200 vouchers which stings even more :/

    • I got the email not long after Star Track had confirmed that my new phone had been successfully delivered, but that may have been coincidence. It came from the address "[email protected]" and the subject was "Your Samsung Trade-Up Confirmation" if that helps. I'd definitely be keeping an eye on your spam folder.

      • Same, got that email 30 mins after my phone was delivered.

  • I wonder if I can do the following:-
    1. Apply for trade up,
    2. Buy the phone with discount
    3. Instead of sending phone to Samsung sell it on gumtree/mobile monster with better outcome.

I would get charged for phone that I did not trade. Still end up potentially saving more money selling via mobile minster or equivalent.

E.g. s9+ 64 gb trade up value by samsung is $130.
Mobile monster offers $230 for working and $260 for as new.

    • +1

They may charge you back the bonus trade up amount, nobody know yet.

    • Samsung is offering a $500 or $300 trade in bonus. So depending on what store you use, your S9+ is worth $630 or $430. You'd be a dead set lunatic to sell it any other way.

      • My user name checks out

  • Do you just send the phone in for this or do you need to include accessories

    • +1

Just the phone. If your phone was the note series and has a pen, you need to include the pen as well.

  • Anyone have any trouble paying with credit card? I keep getting redirected.

There was a problem displaying this page. Please try again later, or verify your input on the previous page.

  • No stock available, what a shit stock availability for a promotion for free memory upgrade:(

    • I'm sure they've sold thousands of units by now. How much stock were you expecting them to have? Plus there's a good chance the stock will be replenished quickly.

    • +2

They are back in stock NOW (limited colours). I just ordered the white one. $638 after$50 voucher and trade in.

      • -1

It'd be funny if the 256gb grey s21 miraculously becomes "available" at 12:01am tonight when the $100 off offer expires.

      • by limited colours he means, every colour in every option/size, except for S21 256GB Grey

  • The 256GB violet, white and pink are back in stock.

    • all colour/options available except S21 256GB Grey

  • I traded my Note 10+ for $615. Found out I can sell to mazuma mobile for $650!

So should I just not send it in and get charged for it while I sell it to mazuma? Worst case is they charge me the full $615, best case is I keep the $300 bonus.

Bought via EPP hence only $300 bonus.

    • How would you be eligible for the $300 bonus if you dont trade anything in ?
      I reckon they'll sttng you $915.

      • I already bought the phone. I just received it and have not sent the old one back. It's $315 for note 10+ and $300 bonus. So max they'll take is $615 then.

    • You can risk it… but if they're reasonable they would charge back the trade in & bonus for non-returns.

      • That's fine as long as it's $615. I tried to cancel the order when I saw I could sell it for $650 but was told it was too late to cancel my order. My mistake for not doing more research.

    • For the sake of 35 bucks? That's pretty extreme…

      • Yes for the sake of $35. I tried to cancel it the next day when I realised this but too late (can't cancel order). It's $615 to samsung or sell for $650 and I would have chosen $650. It was my mistake for not checking everything through but now I might have the chance to get the $35 so I'll take it.

        • +1

I searched high and low to see if they actually charge you the trade-in discount if you don't send them the device. I couldn't find anything. The only thing I can see is that they will charge you the trade value of your phone if you don't send it in.

          • @DontNeedThis: Still nobody know yet since trade in offer so new

            • @superforever: Well, I'll be the guinea pig then lol

I might email them back after a week telling them they can charge me the trade in value and see what happens.

              • @TheTaxMan: I think for your case since you don't mind them to charge you back, so I would just leave it may be you are lucky.

        • You're actually guaranteed to get the additional $35 by doing this but have a chance of getting $335 if Samsung doesn't revert the charge

  • Anybody received their S21 want to know any screen protector on it?

    • There's one already applied to it (after you peel off the first layer on top)

      • Thanks thinking to get the clear view cover.

      • So, wait for that screen protector to inevitably die or remove it and slap on a 9H glass one?

  • The S21 128 and 256 price gone down after 12am still with $500 trade in but 256 out of stock, so same price as EPP

    128GB 1099 256GB 1199

    https://www.samsung.com/au/smartphones/galaxy-s21-5g/buy/

    S21+

    128GB 1299 256gb 1399 all before extra $500 trade in

    Ultra

    128GB 1599 256gb 1699 512GB 1899

    • Which means EPP will most likely also have a price drop

      • Not sure don't have login myself.

      • Prices haven't changed on the Education Store for me, but I'm in QLD where it's still Wednesday…

      • No changes to the EPP Prices. S21 256GB actually went back up - it's now $1079.20

    • So, interestingly, the Ed store prices for the 256gb S21+ models have gone back up to $1319.20, except the silver colour which is still $1149. I wonder why it's special. It's almost like it's an error.

      • S21+ Silver 256 is now out of stock.

        • +1

That'd be right, I finally received the $50 voucher but now it's out of stock

      • I think the Silver S21+ 256gb had another promo that lasts until the 29th March.

  • Anyone had already purchased this, could you please check what's the total amount on the tax invoice/receipt?
Is it showing the full price or showing only the price after the trade-in value?
    Thank you.

    • It's showing the trade-in amount (and corresponding GST) - so essentially what you pay.

  • Oh I thought this ran until end of April :(
