There seems to be a lot of restaurants that will match the $25 voucher dollar for dollar, essentially letting you spend $50 at a time.

      No minimum spend but I read somewhere on NSW Services website (can't find it right now) you can only use one voucher per day.
      Two people, or even a group of people, can combine their one voucher to pay for the bill.. so in your case $50 free.

          Did you actually apply for the vouchers? They don't appear automatically … If you've applied, it can take up to an hour before they appear in the Service NSW app.

    Can confirm this, they've had the posters up for a while. Was only able to get vouchers in this postcode since the 31st though, so I felt like I was being mocked everytime I went past.

    One of the conditions for the Dine vouchers is "cannot be use for takeaway".

    WTF? Why not? I understand that the govn wanting us to go out and help the local businesses. But if i want to takeaway my dinner, the owner pocket the money/voucher and have my table for other customers. It's a win-win situation.

    Also, there is no way they can enforce this. I had dine at a local restaurant yesterday, order 1 more dish to take away. Total slightly more than $25. Paid by voucher and some coins. I've asked the owner if I can just use the voucher to takeaway only instead dine-in, she said no problem.

    Maccas also participated in this. People would rockup to the drive thru window. Order then pay by vouchers. Highly doubt they will refuse to accept that.

      LOL. So on one hand we're told Convid is oh-so dangerous and highly infectious, need masks, need lockdowns, must destroy businesses and blow out the national budget, must block overseas travel, search for ways to punish people if they don't take experimental vaccines causing blood clots and strokes and worse… but at the same time we have to dine indoors with strangers to use the vouchers.

      I don't see why not. What if you are not very well (or don't like go out) and give the vouchers to your family/friends? There is no rule about not give out your vouchers to somebody else. Also, there's no need to check the ownership of the vouchers when paying.

    Some maybe all of the Sydney Collective places don't allow the double voucher offer to be used in conjunction with some other offers. E.g. if you want to order the Fish & Chips at Watson Bay on Tuesday night you only get the regular $25 value of the voucher because they are on special.
