8GB is a joke lol why do manufacturers do this

Save money. Most people won't notice. Those that do can upgrade themselves.

    • Because they almost certainly know the market better than you.

Thanks just got this quickly . Normally I take a couple hour of research. Hopefully all good. Ram like like easy upgrade

  • OH MY GAHD - oh man so tempting :(

  • Hmm.. just ordered the Mac Mini instead for $820 odd from Wireless.
But this would have been great if I already didn't have a gaming laptop.

seems to be the lowest 1660Ti laptop iv seen.. possibly yet!

    • +3

      Yep - it's 47% faster than a 1650 on average - and it's hard to get a 1650 laptop for this price

    Last one

  • 3 left - not sold out

  • Got one thanks op!

Now to get the 8gb ram?

  • Was about to pay $1900 for Razer with almost the same specs. Might not feel as premium but at this price can't complain. Thanks for this. Considering you can upgrade the RAM up to 64gb makes an even better deal.

  • Can anyone please recommend a 8gb for this please? 🤗

  • No regular HDD in addition to SSD :(

    OOS!
I managed not to cave haha

It seemed like an amazing deal for around 1k, I don't know much about specs however most minimum are $1500-1700 on sale.

  • Just saw this post. It's only $987 paying by swap cards, what a deal

  • So sad I missed out :(

  • Kicking myself for missing out

  • I think to upgrade the RAM you would have to remove the keyboard?

    • No, was really easy following youtube and being super super careful. - its the bottom plastic plate with last one behind the factory seal sticker

  • Grabbed one!!!!

Thanks OP, I've been looking at a laptop for RTS gaming for ages now. you're d best.

  • Thanks OP!

I had it in my cart yesterday then it was sold out. Got a notification on my eBay app and managed to just pick one up.

    • Did you use afterpay as payment method?

  • Is it a good laptop for performance, media consumption? Not a gamer though. How hard to upgrade ram?
