Hey guys,

saw this deal from Kogan. Price seems quite good and Kogan is a reliable company to deal with. Dick smith sells its for $749. Comes with 12 months warranty.

Not sure when this deal expires… Let me know your thoughts :)

p.s. couldn't give direct link because ozBargain recognized that the direct link was already used, even it was a different deal back than.

Mod: edited link directly to deal.

Agree. It's like paying someone to shoot you in the foot.

I don't know why that XOOM and iPad deal got so many negs. The people who negged were the ones who got stuffed around with the SG Note. i.e totally unrelated.

        • I know and that's why I decided to post it.

You see, good reputation takes a very log time to obtain, and is easily lost.

What DWI has done will cost them dearly in the long run.

I too thought that the SG note was the onyl issue. But then I started reading about people delivered wrong model phones.

Maybe the carema division of DWI is somewhat seperated from the phone division. Either way, the way they have/are treating clients won't work out well for them.

    • What is this "insurance" of which you speak? Do they charge an extra $80 to "make sure it arrives in one piece"?

Guys, CES starts in 3 days time, Galaxy Nexus will be old news when new Android phones get announced then.

    DUCK & COVER! PRICE-CUT INCOMING!

  • Forget this. Price drop will come soon when the S3 and the Zeta are officially announced at the end of Feb.

    • Might wait for Zeta. Features looks really awesome.

  • Not cheap at all. People buy this phone for $690 at telechoice stores. Plus, Australian stock comes with 2 year warranty.

  • +4

cheaper elsewhere (even in store at Telechoice if you are lucky), plus Kogan are garbage

did anyone know that standard warranty in australia is 2 years now?

    • Where did you read this Joannanatan?

    • being told by someone in the office, he was ex jb hifi staff.
he said it started jan last year

    • yeah for all Samsung phones bought after Jan 2011, 2 years standard warranty applied. First notices it when the SGS2 was released in April.

      Dunno about the other brands

no deal with kogan. Cheaper elsewhere as suggested above.

jack up the price after Xmas for the people that bought gift cards from previous deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/55738

Look at SG2 price http://www.kogan.com.au/shop/category/android-phones/ It used to be $499 with free shipping.

It is grey import and they marked up like AU stock

I also commented at their facebook and my message was not made public.
Neg for this deal. Dodgy Kogan.
