Sign up to Gas & Electricity (and Solar) Supply and Get $50 Electricity Credit & $10 Gas Credit @ Tango Energy via DC Power

DC Power Co organised a deal with Tango for their "investors" but the deal it open to everyone.

I was already with Tango, quoted the DCP code - got better rates, and a far better service to property charge.

Obviously, check your current bill to ensure you are actually getting a better rate.

  • Note that Tango don't offer electricity in all states.

    • Just found that… maybe VIC and NSW only?

  • Just checked, rates are exactly the same (Powercor) as Tango direct with the exception of the higher 15.3c feed-in on the Super FiT plan.

Will have to do some sums to see if the higher FiT will offset the higher usage and daily charges.

    Cheers OP

  • Not a great deal. What's the energy provider that offered $200 cashback through Cashrewards some time ago?

    • Energy Australia? That one is always a rip off, unless you intend to just get the bonus and switch

      • That's the one

        • Energy Australia are horrible to deal with, and their rates aren’t cheaper.

Cash Rewards also has the following offer for signing up a new account to Tango Energy:

New Gas & Electricity signups $112.00
    New Electricity only signups $70.00
    New Gas only signups $42.00

    • @Matthewp1711 what if i am existing customer ? been with tango for 2 years now, still unable to find a cheaper and better service.

  • YMMV:

rates for solar plan pretty bad for my situation with a 9.9 kW solar system, as on a good day would make up to 45 kW

    compared to Origin for NSW/Ausgrid

Origin FiT is 16c (compared to 12c)
Origin Daily is 86.11c/day (compared to 93.72 c/day)
    Origin Usage is 29.43 c/kWh (compared to 28.71 c/kWh)

ReAmped are still offering me better rates.

  • Anyone can recommend a cheap electricity and gas supplier for NSW suburb (Wolli Creek area)?

  • is it expired? I am still able to apply the code
Will Cashrewards track if using the code?
