Is the first year annual fee still waived if you sign up while already a customer? Can't seem to find it in the terms and conditions any more, don't know when they removed it but I definitely remember seeing it a while back.
It still appears in products when in the st george mobile app.
Yeah that's what I saw when I signed up back in Jan, even got it confirmed in their online chat afterwards but they still charged the annual fee in the first statement I received, had to talk to an online agent again to get it refunded. Bonus points were not included in the first statement either though I was expecting that since this is my second time around.
does this mean that if you are already a customer (I am and have been since Aug '21), that you can get the annual fee refunded :D
When I contacted them through online chat to confirm the offer the agent copy and pasted the promo and I think it was until end of March or something. Sorry I don't remember the exact dates now and sometimes they perpetually extend these offers anyway. Since you already have an account it's probably best to confirm with them yourself first if you want to sign up.
@vawiyoci: Thanks mate yeah did online chat and they said I'd have to ring the phone number to check on that. Still tossing up whether to apply or not - I would only if had a 49 or zero annual fee.
Does the internet portal/app keep track of the Qantas points earned?
Do foreign purchases count towards the $3000 spend even if they don't earn qantas points?
Hmm 2nd month after hitting limit already but points still haven’t landed yet. T&C does say 12 weeks but have had much quicker from St George before…
