  • just picked up a m720, was looking for this on sale, well it's too late, i don't game anyway, i may still saved $20

    • I reckon the M720 is more functional anyway, if you dont need the lightspeed receiver etc.
I have used an M720 for a while now and love it. Great value mouse.

    Great gaming mouse

I use it for Solitaire and minesweeper.

    • +2

“This mouse will do 300 hectares on a single tank of kerosene”

      • What country is this from?

        • +3

It no longer exist. Don't forget to put it in H!

G304 and G305 are the same thing named differently for different markets.

  • How does this compare to the Anywhere 2S? Is this mouse good for general office usage?

    • +1

It is, I usually often for Pr0n hub and Ozbargain surfing often without problems

    • It's fine. I prefer the size of the G305. This is my main mouse shared between my work laptop and personal PC with a USB switch. I use the Anywhere 2S as a portable mouse.

      Anywhere has better build quality.
Anywhere mouse uses the standard Unifying protocol
Anywhere mouse can connect to 3 different devices
      Anywhere mouse supports Bluetooth.

      • the anywhere series are great mice

      • Can you connect the G305 to multiple devices?

        • It only connects to the included USB receiver. You would need to swap it between PCs.

    • Important to note that the Anywhere 2S in bluetooth mode has a noticeable latency (judging from my Surface Pro 6).
It's smaller, so it has better portability, but in general use I much prefer my G305!

  • Hardly normal deal is still on for $63(7.95 postage) - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/607264

Though this is cheaper with postage.

    • +1

Yeah. Harvey might have it in hand if you prefer to get it faster.
But might as well sign up for prime (6.99aud) then pay for postage

      • Oops, I even ordered this exact item back in December with prime.

Excellent mouse at an excellent price. I recently listed mine second hand for $50 and I sold within the hour (as I upgraded to a Logitech G Pro X). Highly recommend for anyone, gamer or not.

  • I have this mouse. Its fantastic in all respects except for one crucial area: the clicks are way too hard to click. If you're paying games with this mouse you'll find yourself getting very annoyed overtime at how much force you have to click with especially in a game where you click a lot (eg mobas) which consequentially reduces your reaction time

    • +2

I have two of these and both are fine for left and right clicking, actually very light.

    • I think you might have a dud mouse. I have owned a few mouse's from a few different brands and this one is completely standard feel to me.

      • If you compare the clicks on this mouse to a g502 for example, you'll find the g502 clicks are much much lighter

    • +1

Isn't this one still using the standard Omron China switch other logitech mice have?

      • I'm not sure of the country of origin for the switches, but I remember reading in a switch comparison (not sure how accurate it was) that the G304/G305 switches are more reliable than the ones used in the more expensive G Pro etc.

        • It basically says on the microswitches when you open the mouse up. I doubt Logitech did anything to the switches, because they have kept using those even though there are many many complaints (just search Logitech double click on google).

At least the youtube videos that I found on the teardown of 305 has the omron china switches.

Love this mouse, I've bought 4 in the past 2 years. No alternative that's lightweight and lasts months on a single AAA/AA battery.

    • +1

      Why so many?

      • +5

One for office, one for gaming PC, one for HTPC and one spare in case they discontinue it like my beloved Logitech G5.

  • Yeah as said above, might be cheapest for Amazon UK price history, but this mouse is still currently $63 at Harvey Norman with free C&C, so not overall cheapest, and might be easier to do returns etc with a local store, for anyone considering buying this who doesn't have a prime membership.

Great mouse, picked one up from HN a few weeks ago and has been amazing so far!

  • +1

Bought this from Amazon UK some months ago for $43?

  • does this have tilt and hyper scroll on the wheel?

    • I’m not sure, but it does have “Hizli, Guvenilir Dugme”

    • No, neither. Regular wheel.

  • Instead got another m720 for $49.60
    https://www.amazon.com.au/Logitech-Triathlon-Wireless-Mouse-…

I have had one for couple years and is fantastic for work.

  • Any recommendations for blutooth mouse for Mac which ONLY has usbC ports? [ wonder what genius came up with that? Steve bogs? ]

    • Above m720
