Was looking for one of these and found DSE has them instore only for $39.94 - around $16 cheaper than the nearest rival. Last time DSE had them on special was last April at nearly $50, so a good bargain methinks.
You can also order for a pickup in-store with a choice of which stores have it available, so you can't lose really…
It's designed to work with the Xbox natively so there's no receiver. I've been using one of these since they came out and it still works brilliantly. Voices are clear and crisp and people notice the difference (in a bad way) when I switch to my supposedly more superior Turtlebeach.
My only real complaint is that it only has about 6 hours of battery.
I also haven't found a way to work while it's plugged in for charging so make sure you remember to charge it when it starts beeping.
I got one of these thinking I'd never use but I use it every game now.
Anyone know what type of receiver it uses? Is it usb, or something that plugs into the controller?
