Cheapest was ~$166

Been eying this headphone from the last deal but kept expiring before I pulled the trigger. I doubt they are for actual studio use but from reviews seem like a fun sound.

Some amazon review report QC issues. But amazon has pretty easy returns so hopefully not a worry.

    Hey jasswolf, sorry to bother you. Is the akg k361 BT any good? (It’s only $156 on Amazon right now) For instance, if I connect it thru the 3.5mm cable, does it sound the same as the K361 and is the K371 significantly better than the k361?

      I haven't heard good things about either the K361 or the K371 bluetooth models. This is a series that was built around wired performance, and bluetooth was tacked on with some basic tuning to clean up the signal noise you can get. I've also heard that they aren't great in wired mode because of this.

      The K371 wired is much better built than the K361, and through that housing and driver material offers a much more agreeable sound signature for all-round use.

    Got them the other day, the sound is not what I expected. Don’t know how to describe it, kinda recessed in the mid-bass. Vocals do sound really good though. The bass changes completely when I turn my head to one side and the cups move a bit.

    They are good but I think any of the others you listed would be great listening headphones.

      Ultimately, I need to decide whether to go Closed or Open…

      Closed is more suitable for how I plan to use them, most of the time, but I feel like the Open types have superior sound quality.

      I think if I bought these AKG's, I'd end up returning them, so I think I will focus on the others
