From experience and talking to others, it’s better to guy a wheelbarrow that is already assembled. Often these that are in a box dont line up properly etc.

The other annoying thing is the bar across the front wheel gets hit on small steps / tilted at a minor angle. You’ve really got to have dead straight arms when maneuvering.

    • Grinders are likely on special too

  • Cheapest price @ $38.50 2 years ago hmm

If it's not metal it's shit.

  • These are unsturdy with anything other than leaves. Lol

Mix bags a concrete in mine all the time. Make sure all ya bolts are tight.

Agree, put up 20m of fencing today, used this to haul the bags of concrete around in. Not heavy duty but does the job.

yep…once youve finally got it assembled its good.

  • Good for washing the dog in.

  • best place to find replacement wheels?

ive found this mob but they dont seem to have stock…

      • ive got the bunnings saxon barrow…wonder if these will fit?
also the the wheel on the sca is plastic whereas the bunnings & the ones i linked to are metal…think id prefer metal

        • They do a metal rim as well, but I think it's only 380mm. Have to check the shaft size as well

          • @slimdealin: check out the reviews on the plastic ones eg.

            Lasts for about one day.
Bought this as a replacement for wheelbarrow. Fit perfectly. Within one day ( a few hours) of use, one side had the bearing completely fall apart and the other broke the plastic around the bearing from the weight. Works well as long as your wheelbarrow contents are super light.

@franco cozzo: Dude I've had the barrow for nearly 5 years on the original. Shifted shitloads of heavy crap and the bearings are fine - not everyone wins the made in China draw of course

              • @slimdealin: fair call

the cheap plastic made in china shit wheels on my Victa lawn mower have put me off plastic wheels on heavy tools/machinery forever

Anyone who buys one of these - check the top rated review for install tips (my own). I've built approx 10 of these now - the original from the review is still going strong. Mixed concrete etc.

After reading many reviews of this product, I have decided to share some simple tips to easily complete this build, single handedly and within 10 minutes (YMMV).

    1. Forget getting a second person.
    2. Get a roll of sticky tape.
    3. Grab the 4 main bolts, slide them through the bottom and tape the heads to the inside.
    4. Proceed as per instructions, thanking me profusely for not having to chase at the bolts constantly.
    • im pretty sure i remember you posting your tips before…will definitely do what you suggest next time i need to assemble on of these ;)

    • Assembled one yesterday had to do the same thing. Used an air racheter to tightened the bolts :)

  • $149.99 delivery from 50km away.

  • Mine lives in the backyard in the open, still going strong just faded
